Honest to goodness coffee taste is brought here by 7 Eleven through their own coffee brand “City Blends”, they set up a custom made Espresso coffee machine from Italy and installed it in their 500+ branches of 7 Eleven stores nationwide to bring us a freshly made hot coffee from coffee beans to cup in just a press of a finger to the machine.
Its far more different to coffee machines that uses instant powdered coffee, because the beans to cup method is the best way to give an honest to goodness taste of a real coffee. For a starting price of PHP 20, you can now enjoy a freshly grinded and brewed coffee from City Blends.
7 Eleven’s City Blends invited the romantic couple James Reid and Nadine Lustre (JaDine) to be the face of their coffee brand. This will give a big awareness to the million of viewers and fans of the hit tv series “On the Wings of Love” starred by JaDine about their affordable coffee.
They now have a TV commercial which I can say that it looks like a Commercial Series…. with lots of “hugot” lines and alternate endings.
James: You’re being honest, may gusto sana ako sabihin sayo
Nadine: (looks at James)
James: Gusto mo….tayo na????

There will be also a special City Blends cups of JaDine that will be available in each 7 Eleven branches.
I’m not sure if they will also sell a coffee tumbler anytime soon (I have one here at home, with photos of JaDine)
City Blends uses 100% Arabica coffee beans and this is grounded and brewed according to your coffee preference. Available coffees are -- Brewed Coffee, French Vanilla, Mochaccino and Hershey's Dark Chocolate.
Prices are:
Large - PHP 39
Medium - PHP 29
Small - PHP 20
In 7 Eleven branches, it will be a self service method, just grab a coffee cup, and press the button of the coffee style you want and after some seconds, you’ll hear the machine grind the coffee beans and then see a hot coffee drips to your cup.
Just add sugar or cream for your preference of coffee taste.
The event host of the media event of City Blends showed us how fast their machine operates, and this can serve hundreds of customers per day in a 7 Eleven store.
At the media event with JaDine, we learned that the couple are always on an adventure, both of them loves the animated series “Adventure Time”. Nadine shared that James loves clothes that are plain in colors, mostly white or blue colors. James also shared that Nadine is a morning person and it bothers him because Nadine always wakes him up at an early time and this reveals that James is not a morning person hahahah.
We also learned that James is a cat lover, because he said cats are just quiet and minds its own business and if you cuddle the cat, it will just let you and never mind you. Because of that, Nadine shared to us that James’ animal spirit is a cat because he is an easy sleeper and very careful with his hairstyle, Nadine warned us that we should not touch or ruin James’ hair because he didn’t like it.
Nadine said that if James is a City Blends coffee it will be the French Vanilla, because it is sweet….
