I
guess the photo above shows why I so geeked out during the Galactic Digital
Night party by Globe to their supportive bloggers and influencers. Yes, that’s
me wearing a Darth Maul costume and beside me is Jaja in Padme costume, and ohh
behind us is a Clone trooper and Darth Vader. Its obvious that the theme of the
party is Star Wars, and this is line with the promotion of Globe’s Star Wars
Everyday promo, the Galactic Celebration event and also the Globe Platinum
Broadband.
Thanks to my son, Ashton for allowing me to borrow his Darth
Maul mask and his Kylo Ren light saber. Its funny that he commented that my get
up is a bit embarrassing because Im using the wrong light saber for Darth Maul.
I told him that its just a party and I can’t afford a double edge light saber
just like what Darth Maul uses.
I
arrived at the venue in BGC a bit late, I got caught in heavy traffic that
night and I was so worried that I might miss all the excitement and action of
the party. But Im glad that I made it and caught the mid part of the
program.
Also
we got a taste of Globe Platinum Broadband’s high speed internet connection that
speeds up to 50 mbps. The plan they are promoting for this speed is PLAN 2499,
and for 100 mbps speed is at PLAN 3499, the 200 mbps speed is at PLAN 4499, the
500 mbps is at PLAN 7499 and the 1 GBPS is at Plan 9499.
Above is a
speed test using my Asus Zenfone Selfie, I think we’re using PLAN 2499 with 50
mbps speed at that night. The high speed internet can’t be achieved by my
smartphone because it has limited speed for WIFI, but if you direct connect a
laptop with good specs, you can achieve a full blast speed of 50 mbps or more if
you are on the right plan.
That evening, I managed to download the STAR
WARS app by Disney, and that’s a heavy 89MB and I just downloaded it in just
minutes. Awesome!
Here
at the event, I hang out with my PBNET blogger friends. I did a prank on them by
standing beside them wearing my Darth Maul costume and mask. I totally laughed
because they didn’t recognized me.
In
the mid part of the event…I won the costume contest!!!
wohooohohohoho
And
the fun part…I also won in the raffle draw! more Star Wars goodies!!!
Issa
Litton in Princess Leia costume, hosted the evening program and she is also our
