Nikon surprised everyone when they launched a teaser and preview of their new camera, the Nikon KeyMission 360 – its not a DSLR or a point and shoot camera, but it’s the 1st Nikon camera that can shoot 4K UHD video and photo in 360 degrees!!!
It’s a 4K double camera back to back that shoots 360 environment, its also a waterproof action camera that you can mount and wear.
Im hunting for the best 360 degrees camera since last year, I’ve seen the Kodak camera 360 action cam, but its not good enough, then I saw the Ricoh, it’s a good, semi-perfect but its not an action camera. But for Nikon’s latest camera, the Nikon KeyMission 360 can do the thing that we wanted since the birth of GoPro.
I wonder what will GoPro do next.

- you can playback recorded content on your smartphone via an app

- You can share the 360 videos on Youtube and let the viewers scroll up, down, left and right to view different angle from the 360 video.
Nikon already released their PR online and also a Youtube sample recording of their Nikon KeyMission 360.

Hmm…. there’s the strap slot and maybe the square thing is the recording button.
If there’s a strap slot already, then the body is really waterproof and durable.
Now I worry about the lens….if ever it experienced some accidental falls.
Been toying this idea since owning a GoPro Hero 3+, but imagining a Nikon KeyMission 360 mounted on my Nikon DSLR..is one..awesome set up hahahaah.
