The 36 year old giant Christmas Tree of Araneta Center was lighted up last November 17, 2017 at the Time Square Food Park on Times Square Avenue along Roxas Avenue. Its a new venue at Araneta Center that hosted the Paskong Pinoy booth and market.
Did you know that the Araneta Center is the first to build the tallest Christmas Tree and it became the popular symbol of Paskong Pinoy when it was first lighted up in 1981. It became an annual tradition at Araneta Center to light up the tree as a sign of the start of Christmas Season in the Philippines.
Its great to see our fellow pinoys who visited the grand lighting of the giant Christmas Tree, the entire venue was full of visitors and shoppers and it proves that the Araneta Center Christmas Tree lighting is still the grandest tree lighting ceremony in the Philippines.
Araneta Center also lighted up their first Christmas light tunnel, a long tunnel filled with LED lights and this reminds me of those LED light tunnel in Japan, see those Sakura tree LED Light at the side?
The best part for this year's Christmas tree set of Araneta Center is that you can come closer to the tree to have your perfect selfie our group-fie with your friends and family.

During the tree lighting ceremony, there's a program that awards the street kids who are taken care of He Cares Mission and the turn over of donations and gifts are leaded by Ms. Stella Marquez-Araneta, director of Bb. Pilipinas and Bb. Pilipinas Charities, and along with her are reigning Bb. Pilipinas beauties and queens.

One of the most awaited program at the Araneta Center Christmas tree lighting ceremony are the appearance of celebrities on stage.
Fans of Kisses, Vice Ganda, Kaye Cal and Alex Gongaza were there at the bleacher side to show support and also watch the grand ceremony.
