Spiral Manila celebrates its 5th birthday today and they've invited all their executive staff, partners, loyal guest and friends from the media to have a lunch celebration and share a toast for Spiral Manila's success as the best restaurant with the biggest buffet containing 21 atelier.
It marks the 5th year of the newly renovated and re-modeled dining area and interiors back in 2012 the change of the entire Spiral Manila started when it was damaged by a typhoon in 2011.
My 1st visit for the new renovated Spiral Manila was last 2013, it was when I first saw its new Spiral Manila with modern dining area and world class kitchen set up.
Spiral Manila is the best resto in a hotel for me and I'm so happy that I see how it evolved and influence us to appreciate more international food. I didn't expected that they will set up a grand celebration, at first we thought that it might be simple lunch, and glad that we dress up for this important occasion.
Let's have a quick look back, this is one of my old photo of Spiral Manila from the year 2010
And then here's the newly renovated dining area, a first photo I took last 2013 during my come back visit, and its great to see that the interiors and dining set is much more modern and better than they have back in 2010.
Thanks to Jane and Blessy for taking me a tour around the newly renovated Spiral Manila back in 2013, this was the start of my engagement with Sofitel Manila as one of their blogger media. Then followed by the new team of Kat and Dave who continues the digital arm and blogger relation. Thanks so much!
And now let's go back to the celebration :)
Another wow moments!! because we saw lots of cake at the Spiral 2 Go counter and we learned that all dining guest of Spiral Manila receives a box of cake.
I thought that the cake will just stay there, but then they opened it for everyone to have photo blowing the candle on the cake and also take a slice.
Lots of cakes infront of me, but I've tried this red velvet cake with cheesy icing, wow its so good and its a perfect pair to my hot latte.
Their atelier chef / artisan really are great in making cakes and dessert. They've got one of the best cake and chocolate makers.
Happy Birthday Spiral Manila
Sofitel Manila's executive team
Here's a champagne toast to Spiral Manila's 5th birthday!
Let me show you around inside their 21 atelier
I really like to feature some food from the atelier table but its so hard to take a photo because it was lunch time and every one are there busy grabbing their food. But from my photos, I featured the talented artisan behind the counter and table, because of them, the food and service to us diners are always magnifique
To the chefs, artisan, staff and cook of Spiral Manila, thanks so much for preparing all the food with LOVE.
Our dining area with other fellow online media and Sofitel team
Below are some photos of my plate, haha
Just take note that I ate all of it and I never leave any left overs. I always grab a few and eat it slowly.
That's the secret of dining the right way at Spiral Manila.
From the French atelier -- Truffle risoto, asparagus, Rabu (lamb I think) and duck confetti
Asian atelier - peking duck, efun noodles, some mushrooms and ohhh I went back for another round of that truffle risoto.
Japanese atelier - I grab my fave food here at Spiral Manila -- California maki, squid sashimi, tamago, salmon and tuna sashimi.
And last -- that red velvet cake and a hot latte.
This final meal closes all my taste buds hahaha.
Thanks so much for reading my blog post about the 5th birthday celebration of Spiral Manila.
If you want to have the best Spiral Manila experience, I do suggest you should try their Sunday Brunch and Dinner, because I heard that all the popular dishes and food are being featured every Sunday here at Spiral Manila.
