SuperStar Virgo docked in Manila as its homeport and was well received by Filipino guest. She’s returning again in March to embark on a new adventure with new itineraries and unique experience during the cruise.
SuperStar Virgo will be going to Japan and Taiwan for their sailings and will also be
Visa-free trips. Okinawa will be the first stop specifically Naha or Ishigaki depending on the time of the sailing. They can visit temples, do shopping and eat at Kokusai Dori (main shopping and entertainment street) in Naha.
In Ishigaki, they will be greeted with unspoiled beaches, pristine waters, palm trees and pineapple plantations and truly a paradise in Japan. On their second destination, they can explore the port city of Keelung which is the center of Northern Taiwan’s fishing industry and discover its rich history. There are also night markets in Keelung where they can savor the delicious street food that Taiwan has to offer. Also its near the capital, Taipei which you can visit!
During the Cruising Days, guests can explore many recreational activities in the ship. They can do shopping at duty free shops, play video games and arcades, dine at the 10 restaurants and bars inside the ship, nightly performances (magic shows and acrobats) and more! There’s always something new and fun activities aboard the ship and they ensure that cruisers will have the best experience every time.
SuperStar Virgo will have a total of 18 sailings starting from March 5 to May 29, 2018. The summer getaway cruise will have 6 days and 5 nights.

After the program, the staff toured us inside and around the 13-storey SuperStar Virgo. Lots of facilities and recreational spots like the outdoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, spa, salon, library, gym, duty-free shops and so much more!
Food is abundant on this cruise, you’ll eat 6 times everyday and lots of choices of restaurants and bars that cater to every taste may it be Asian, Mediterranean, Western and international cuisines.

Star Cruises employ a lot of Filipinos in SuperStar Virgo. "Many of our Filipino colleagues who initially joined us as waiters or housekeeping staff. Today they all become our senior management, our cruise directors they are all Filipinos, our F&B director is also a Filipino, if you look at our front office they are all Filipino," Michael Goh, Senior VP for International Sales said.
