I scored free weekend passes to C2E2 (Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo) last weekend held in McCormick Place in Lake Shore Drive, downtown Chicago.
Badges were almost sold out before the event started. The expo features exhibits, comics, artists, celebrities, pop culture, gaming and cosplay. C2E2 is organized by ReedPOP who also spearheaded New York Comic Con, Emerald City Comic Con, Star Wars Celebration, Book Con and PAX.
Feature guests include Paul Rudd (Marvel's Ant-Man, Anchorman, Clueless), Marty Scurll (ROH, Being the Elite), Ralph Macchio (Cobra Kai, The Karate Kid, My Cousin Vinny, The Deuce), Clark Middleton (The Blacklist) and many other artists.
Advance tickets are $30 for Friday, $45 for Saturday and $40 for Sunday. Onsite selling cost higher so you have to purchase your tickets online. 3 day passes are $75 and $85 onsite. VIPs, autographs and photo ops are different price range. Kids are free under 6 years old, 3 day passes for kids is $20.
C2E2 celebrates its 10th year anniversary, the event started in April 2010 and had over 80,000 attendees in 2018.
