Huawei and Globe have been very good strategic partners for a long time now and today is not any difference, with the launching of Huawei’s latest smartphone, the Huawei P30 and P30 Pro.
The event transpired at the BGC Ampitheater and they transformed the place to have 4 different stations where you can use the Huawei P30 or P30 Pro’s highlighted features like the macro, super zoom and many more! It is also where you get to participate in their Giveaway of a BRAND NEW P30 Pro to one lucky winner!

At the center I got to check out these amazing smartphones and tried out the features that are said to #RedefineTheRules of Photography.
One of the stations that I loved is from the Macro booth where you get to setup the P30 Pro and use the macro function to take photos of the toys! They have 2 setups, both are Lego toys with very intricate details that you can use the Macro to shoot with.
The main event started with an electric dance performance!
It was hosted by 88.3’s Candy Gamos who was very energetic and engaging all through out the night.
Then the VP for Postpaid Business of Globe , Ms. KD Dizon, spoke about Globe’s history partnering up with Huawei and how they support each other in ventures like this launch event.
And then she introduced Huawei’s Sr. Product Marketing Manager, Peter Gauden, who walked us through the Huawei P30 and P30 Pro’s features and specs.
Next, they showed us the trailer for the upcoming web series of Globe called “REFRAMED” which are all shot with the Huawei P30 Pro and showcases #TheBraveOnes, different creators that are fearless, original and unapologetic.
We are treated to an appearance by two of the featured creators, Kim Jones and Ryan Villamael.
Both of them shared their experiences during the shoot of the web series and also, what they liked about the new smartphones from Huawei.

After that, they announced the winner of a Brand New Huawei P30 Pro! And this lucky lady won!

Sir George Li, the Country Manager for the Philippines of Huawei, closed the event with a short speech and then they had a group photo on stage together with the whole team.
This event was really fun and I’m happy to get to try out the latest smartphone from Huawei!
Personally, I think getting the P30 Pro is a no-brainer, especially if budget is not an issue and it’s been a while since your last phone upgrade. It’s really packed with amazing specs and features that will blow your mind.
