Master painter Nemi Miranda aka Nemiranda of Angono, Rizal is known for his awesome gallery house in his home town and also the one responsible for the mural art in the walls of Edsa Shrine. I didn’t get a chance to meet him years ago when I visited his gallery house, When I arrived there it was closed and I think it was under renovation. I only see him on TV and on the internet featuring his works and news about him.
For the first time ever, Im so excited to see his paintings from 2017-2018 that are now exhibited at Gallery C, 3rd level of Conrad Manila Hotel. I also learned that Conrad Manila is housing 700+ local and international painting and I realized that the hotel is also an art gallery.
Conrad Manila collaborated with DOT Region IV-A CALABARZON to launch the 8th installment of their art gallery series “OF ART AND WINE” Exhibit and this time they are featuring Nemi Miranda. The gallery is now open from April 10, 2019 and up to the next three months.
Nemi Miranda’s painting features his “VISUAL DIARY IN PURE IMAGINATION” series, a theme series about inspiring stories of trials and successes, of family, love and the environment. His painting on display is about the Marawi conflict, but instead of showing sadness, he showed a much more lighter scenery, he also showcase his myths and legends of the Philippines and also the ever favorite -- mother and child and the early harvest paintings
The Nemiranda paintings are now open for viewing at Gallery C
The paintings are also for sale ranging from PHP 100k up to PHP 1.6M for the large scale paintings.
I know that some art collectors might get some interest acquiring his paintings, just go to Conrad Manila for the art viewing and also for inquiries.
