What did I do during my birthday ?

http://photos-e.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc1/hs125.snc1/5380_117862744275_567879275_2904092_2989036_n.jpg

I haven't posted a blog yet about my birthday last July 1, 2009, and because that I got sick for almost a week and didn't know that I acquired dengue in my body and just found about it days before my recovery, but I'm still here and alive and will post some updates on what good things had just happened to me during my natal day.

I celebrated my birthday party at home, not a super party, but just a simple eat out at home and invite Chris Aquino to come over here in Lace's house in Cavite, and since he lives in Dasma, its just a 30 min. jeep ride away from his home and he was here partying with us and eat good food cooked by Lace's Mama and watch these digital movies in our PCs ( heheheh) won't tell to you what movie haahah, but someone here did a marathon alone upstairs. Then a few minutes later, A Jollibee delivery man came here knocking at the door and delivered to me this cute Jollibee cake by Red Ribbon, I was surprised that I got a birthday cake, and since I dont have a cake at home, this just made my day complete. We set up the whole table over again with food and lit up the candles and I blow it all, and got a funny moment that the candles are not that easy to blow out, got a number of times of blow and my hardest part of blog didn't kill the fire, but then the cake cover helped me after using it to blow the candles, and all went up into a big smoke, hahahaa that's a great blooper for the party.

Then I left home and headed to Megamall to meet my sister and the duo RG and Cerbo, we ate at Sizzling Pepper Lunch and introduced to them the wonders of cooking your own kanin baboy ( hahah its an inside joke, hope you won't get offended or disgusted).

here's a funny video from the cellphone of my sister.

and then after the meal, we went to Starbucks in Megastrip to cool down and after my sister left us, the night became the all boys night out, hahahaha.. gotcha boys!

I still have one utang of an online party for everyone, and since that I got sick after my birthday and gone busy recovering, I will post soon here and at plurk the schedule of the online party that hopefully to be done by next week. Just stay tuned for updates. Its the 6th year online party. hehhee.

and for the thank yous
thanks again to my family, friends, online networks and ka-bloggers.

also thanks to Jollibee and Stratworks for the super cute cake
Amor Maclang and Geiser Maclang company for the fruits basket
Yehey.com and Superbowl of China for that advance birthday treat last week
and to those numerous Facebook friends who spammed my wall and profile with lovelots greetings.

San Miguel Beer hosted a night of tribute for "The King of Pop" Michael Jackson at the G8 Avenue Bar. The event is a series of music videos of MJ and was provided by MTV Philippines. There's only one king and no other performer can replace the mighty MJ, so here we are enjoying the music videos and relive the good ol days on where we started wearing one gloves, tight pants, dancing shoes and a shout of "hiheeeeeee!!" "Who's Bad?!". Me, Lace, RG and Misyel successfully got a front row seat that night and we laughed at some classic music videos, and we dance and sing in our seats watching "Remember the time",Black and White, Beat it, BAD, Thriller and many more. I almost cried in the middle of Black and White, that's one of my favorite video, and also happy to see that "JAM" video, (I might listen to Kriss Kross after this hahaha)

The King of Pop is gone, but the music, the legacy and the influence will live forever.

The image “http://images.popazrael.multiply.com/image/2/photos/350/500x500/140/P4220316.JPG?et=AGZGFZeXG6UQNnjRI5XwOg&nmid=92848456” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors.
Have tsinelas, Fly: Online travel journal photo contest celebrates the wandering Juan

For today’s Filipinos who love to travel, there is no sight too awesome, new friend too intriguing, or story too big to capture. Wherever they land, trusty camera in tow, they document all the wonderful, strange and inspiring views, people and experiences they find, whether at the world’s most popular landmarks or even the dingiest side streets. Such images and their corresponding tales often find their way to family and friends online, giddily sharing the traveler’s pride. “I was there,” these chronicles say, “and so can you.”

This is the spirit of the wandering Juan, a new breed of Pinoy travelers who find good times wherever they go and record such memories with fondness. In tribute to their fun-loving and inspiring ways, Cebu Pacific Air has launched its Wandering Juan Travel Journal Photo Contest online (www.wanderingjuan.com) to showcase such flair for travel, but with a twist. Each entry must include a pair of tsinelas—something all Pinoy travelers never leave home without—to represent the adventurous wandering Juan attitude. Enter travel photos in any of the three categories and you may find yourself flying high on a Cebu Pacific flight to the grand adventure of your dreams.

For their creative photos, travelers can win trips to exciting destinations such as Kota Kinabalu in Malaysia, Thailand and Singapore, courtesy of Cebu Pacific.

“For the first time, there is now a website that recognizes the unique travel perspective—a combination of pluck, humor, creativity, warmth and pride—that we bring on our journeys and enhance our travel experiences. Wandering Juan provides Pinoy and Pinoy-at-heart travelers a venue where they can brandish their travel achievements for all the world to see,” announces Candice Iyog, Cebu Pacific vice president for marketing and distribution.

The travel journal photo contest will serve as a visual journal of the many travel experiences Pinoys have finally been able to enjoy, thanks to Cebu Pacific’s lowest year-round fares and increasing number of destinations.

Those who wish to join the contest, which runs from July to October 2009, can submit photos featuring their tsinelas in landmarks and sites they’ve visited, with people they’ve met or in a sequence a la travelogue story. The complete mechanics may be viewed online.

With Cebu Pacific now flying to more local and international destinations, participants can take their photos from the local surfing capital of Siargao in Surigao del Norte and the Chocolate Hills of Bohol, all the way to quirky Seoul in South Korea and the historical structures of China.

And to really make memories last forever, one can avail of Cebu Pacific’s Fun Prints service. You can have your photos printed out so you can relive your memorable Cebu Pacific vacation. The Fun Prints site is operated and maintained by Mozcom, the Philippines’ first commercial Internet Service Provider.

“This is a good time to be a traveler and learn more about the world and our places in it, given all the affordable options and unique services that make travel dreams possible and more meaningful,” adds Iyog.

Jollitown, the children’s show aired every Sunday morning at GMA7 can now be experienced beyond television with the feature-packed Jollitown website, www.jollitown.com.ph.

Jollibee recently brought the Jollitown experience to the mall and transformed the Grand Atrium in Shangri-La Plaza into a spellbinding land for the day-long launch of the Jollitown website. Members of the media, kids, and their parents were able to experience Jollitown at their fingertips with hands-on navigation of the website.

Kids were also able to enjoy the online journey with their favorite friends from Jollitown namely Jollibee, Hetty, Popo, Yum, and Twirlie. Aside from providing computer hubs and website demonstrations, the launch also made the Jollitown website experience more real by letting kids participate in live character-themed games based on the ones featured on the Jollitown website like Jollibee’s card matching game, Hetty’s tag-a-friend game, Popo’s basketball game, Yum’s robot puzzle, and Twirlie’s dance showdown.

that bad flu is Dengue!

I went to the doctor yesterday to have a check up after seeing these rashes all over my body, Lace accompanied me to the nearest clinic outside the village and then the doctor told me that I might have survived a dengue fever on its 5th day.

To make everything accurate, I let them test my blood and urine then we waited for few minutes of the results of the test. Then after the results were released, it was confirmed that I got dengue and the doctor got thankful I survive it alone, its a bad thing to do and I thought it was just an ordinary fever, but then I figured it out the evening chills and lost of appetite and high fever. I think I almost died on a Saturday night, but I'm glad that I'm okay and looks like a stage 1 dengue.

Because that I'm not yet full recovered, I'm staying indoors for awhile and continue to recover and take all the medicines that the doctor told me to take. My blood still has dengue and if a mosquito bite me, and then it bite you, you might get dengue too via from my blood. freakky.....

Right now, I look like the red Hulk hahaha, all body is reddish..and damn its itchy. But good thing is that 'm okay and fine.

Bad Flu

I just got a flu last Friday and I got sick so bad that evening that results for no computer and internet for almost 5 days. Its my 5th day and I'm still have a mild fever, I just got a little reserved energy to check my email, because from my deep sleep last night, I felt that the internet visited me in my sleep.

I know its such a weird dream (or nightmare) Facebook pops out over and over again and my Gmail talks to me and said that I have 200 unread emails, I experienced this in my sleep over and over again from 3am to 6am, and I'm chilling to death and sweat like I jog the whole village.

But I'm glad that I show signs of recovery and got afraid that this could be a swine flu or dengue. But glad that its not. I just remembered that I have a one week flu every year and it occurs every month of December or around late January. Its a natural thing in my body and glad that I feel a little bit okay. I still feel dizzy and my back hurts so bad, because I'm in bed for 3 days and feel like a vegetable.

so expect some no blog updates for a few days or plurk, I'll just take a rest and have a full recovery.
