Its
my 2nd time to see Ely Buendia in his solo performance,as himself and not part
of any band. I think he is ready to launch a series of new album, music video
and then concert. His name is really big in the pinoy music scene and we know
that he is part of the Eraserheads band, all songs they created are now part of our
history and life, the 90’s pinoy rock is the rise of original
Filipino music, and we’re glad that Eraserheads and the rest of the local pinoy
rock bands, musicians, song writers and etc gave a big contribution. Ely Buendia
remains to continue to contribute, even his 1st band the Eraserheads is already
disbanded, going solo is also a great way to make more music, and much more better songs.
Ely performed last January 2013 at the Music Museum, its his 2nd
performance live act event, and the event is called “The Repeat”, I enjoyed
listening to his song covers coming from the Eheads track, and some of his own
song. The live performance is backed up by string orchestras and that added a new
feel and music to our ears, even if the songs are old, we still get a new music
arranged by Ely for us, sounding like it will be the 1st time we will listen to it. I hope there’s another show and I want to watch it
again.
I took some photos from the music event, I didn’t took more of it
because I’m there to watch and fuse with the song and music. Super enjoy…sulit
ang bayad!!! thanks Ely
**one of the biggest moment here is that Ely’s
dad is present at the event, and his dad mentioned that this is the 1st time he
watches Ely live after so many years.. awesome!
