March 30, 2014 – After our trip in Strawberry farm in La Trinidad, Benguet, we drop by to the La Trinidad Vegetable Trading Post, this is were all vegetables are being traded by farmers and distributors, most veggies are dropped here to be distributed for Baguio and others are for Manila and the rest of Luzon.
Trucks and jeeps parked infront of the trading post, they load all kinds of veggies, our lady bloggers are so excited to check out the trading post, because the veggies here are affordable and the price are much lower than the grocery price, plus the veggies are fresh and clean.
there’s no entrance fee, just come as you are, make sure you brought some eco bags for your veggies.
Mommy Lace is so excited to see the veggies trading post, I was here last year and I bought lots of lettuce for her salad.
Inside the veggies trading post, it’s a bit crowded and cramped by farmers, veggies seller and kargador
We did some ocular inspection and see what kind of veggies we will buy today.
Spotted lots of veggies..its hard to choose
They sell veggies by bulk or by batches. The more you buy, the lesser price they will give.
I’m glad that the weather here in the trading post is a bit cooler than Baguio.
Spotted Team Merryland and Seatsfortwo negotiating for a good price for baby corns.
Mommy Lace just bought some fresh lettuce.
Here we saw some trading post people managing the lettuce Baguio veggies. Its weird they call it lettuce Baguio, the plant grew from La Trinidad and not in Baguio ahahaha.
Time to deliver this!
Here’s Ashton helping her mommy carry the veggies
Bait ni Baby Ash hahaha.
Here’s my baby kargador
everyone laughs when they saw Ashton carry the veggies like a true kargador.
at around 11:30am, the trading post is very busy.
Leafy onions….
Here’s her shopping finds of the day at the La Trinidad Vegetables Trading Post.
Edel, Marj and Lace
