Kata Digital Philippines was teasing us for the launch of Kata M3 few months ago, it’s a long wait for Kata fans but the long wait is worth it because they unveiled a superior smartphone packed with the right tech innovation for the mobile lifestyle. If you are multi tasking person and a fast swiper like a fast gun drawer of a Lone Ranger, then you might consider a 1.7Ghz Octa Core for you, because its fast to load an app and also best for gaming too.
Kata M3 is the result of the innovation evolution of Kata Digital, we’ve seen this before after the launch of Kata M2 and Kata i4, for me those are the best ever Kata smartphones. Today, I’m using Kata M3 and I’m very impressed on the body design, the screen, the touch sensitivity of the touch screen, super fast processor, and its weight. Kata M1 and Kata M2 were a bit bulky and heavy, but for Kata M3, they did some magic to bring in a light weight smartphone with lots of compact tech.
Hail hydra! that’s a 16 MP rear camera, it’s the only camera for the Kata smartphone lines with a high megapixel, it’s the new trend for smartphone today to have a higher megapixel, fast processor and a super HD display screen. Kata M3 might be similar from the rest of the branded smartphones, but the difference is that the SRP is much lower and Kata M3 is tagged as the most affordable smartphone with better specs.
Stay tuned for more blog post, and next time. I will post my full review.

I haven’t tried charging it yet with a timer. But I noticed that its like a fast charger.

Hands on with Kata M3
I like the smooth casing and handy size
Here’s my Kata M1, Kata M2 and Kata M3
see the size comparison
Kata M1 with 5.7 inch screen
Kata M2 with 5.5 inch screen
Kata M3 with 5.5 inch screen
5.7 inches screen for smartphones are a bit bulky, for the size they are considered as a phablet already. I guess the good standard for smartphones with bigger screens is the 5.5 inches. Because its easy to handle and also not bulky inside your pants.
For screen and touch sensitivity, Kata M3 is much better than its other 2 brothers.
close up look of the mirco USB power plug. Thank goodness that they place the charger below the body of the phone
Kata M3 has 3 buttons – the call command, home and back button.
Right side is the power button
Top side is the earphone plug
left side is the volume control
For screen shot using the Kata M3, you can still use – press power button + volume button down at the same time to take screen shot photos

I love the power volume of Kata M3’s speaker.
It’s the best speaker ever for Kata’s line of smartphone. I super love it when playing music and also games.
Loading my Kata M3 with Android power!!
After registering my Kata M3, I noticed that there’s a wireless update for the phone. I updated it in no time. Its just a 15 MB file.
take note that the phone will restart after the download and installation.
Hands on test with the Kata M3.
Its slim…light weight and smooth
I worry about what will happen if I accidentally drop this.
hmm..I guess a good casing is the best protection for slim smartphones.
I hope they can release a better casing this time,
Here's my first camera test with the Kata M3 16 MP camera.
