I got introduced to this new app by Insular Life, its a finance manager app that you can download and install it in your smartphone for FREE. You can use this app to monitor your everyday expenses and come up how much budget you needed for a month and for the entire year.
Its funny that I'm searching for this kind of app and a day before I got introduced to this app, I saw an episode of CNN's Business Traveler hosted by Richard Quest, although that the episode is a year old but the concept, story and idea is not obsolete. I've learned the hard ship and painful experiences of business travelers, some of them enjoyed the hyper mobility lifestyle, but for some its not very enjoyable. Why? because business traveling is very tiring, you will miss your family, there will be sleepless night, stress in travel from airport to hotel to business meeting, and also it is very expensive.
One thing that is a hassle for business travelers is to monitor their expenses and budget in every trip. I think its just a piece of cake for others to monitor it because their company pays for it. But what about freelancers who go out and travel and use their own money to enjoy the vacation and at the same time working for their job in a different location.
Richard Quest then showed on TV that they use lots of finance management app, yes they are free but you have to pay for a monthly subscription in order to get the full version. I saw that the app features can also take photos of your receipt and sent it to a finance manager to sum it up for you to know how much you spend and what budget you need for the next trip.
When I saw that, I got excited to try and look for a same app that can do the same thing.
Then the other day, I've learned that Insular Life's Finance Manager App can do the same - -and the good thing is --- its FREE. (although the intervention of a human finance manager is not included, but that will be up to you since you will be one to operate it)
Ok I'm going to give it a shot and let's try how much I spend the entire day, months and year.
I've tried some app like Wally, but it lack some features I need, then a friend told me to use another one but it has no cloud features, any finance manager app with or with out cloud feature is okay, all I need is to see how much budget I need and how I can monitor my cash flow.
I admit, I am really a bad finance manager, but I will do my best to be better, Im just thankful that many financial management and insurance company are here to educate us and be aware that it is not too late to save money for investment that can help our life, our family and us to enjoy the lifestyle.

- Cash flow management is really a problem to some people, I admit I'm the one at trouble. Its a problem because many people lack expertise and knowledge in setting financial goals and cash management.
- Millennials fear to dream big, some of them are a dreamer, but some millennials just like to stay where they are.
- New parents (teen parents) are forced to set aside their dreams, because they focus on parenting and taking care of their family
- Start early to learn more about financial management and acquire insurance plans, so that u can work and plan your retirement on a right age
- Having an obsession for dreams is good, this will motivate you to grasp it fast and easy
- Make dreams bigger than your fears, I loved this word and it keeps me strong, I do have some fear for trying a job that I haven't tried before, I admit that Im not confident, but I didn't know that my dreams and future projections can help me be strong
- Not wise to borrow money for travel --- I agree...I almost borrowed money for a planned trip this month, now I know that this is a big NO NO.

The app is free to download and its very compatible with the latest mobile device and OS.
The Insular Life Finance Manager App can let you choose or create a kind of categories that you usually do -- like expenses for food, transportation, electricity bill, groceries and etc.
For each category, you can record your daily expenses and then you'll see how much budget and total expenses you made in a day, month and year. You can monitor your app and add data on a regular basis so that you can not over spend and loose more funds.
I gave it a test and I added my daily expenses.
When I wrote down my expenses, I saw that my blogger gig for a day is cost PHP500++
and that covers transportation expenses only.
For I need to monitor my expenses and not over spend for every blogger gig or every time I travel to Manila just to cover and attend a blogger event.
In reality, attending blogger events every day is very expensive!!
Im sure many will be shock when they realized how much we spend on a day to cover blogger events and go home with zero profit.
Yeah that's the hard knock life of a blogger in Manila!
For this month, I will challenge myself to try this app and see the painful reality of how I spend money in going out to work and cover blogger events. But with this app, I'm now motivated to save money and set a budget that I need for a day.
It means that I should use my money well, and be street smart...the usual I do when I was in high school and early college days.

Why I am doing this?
I just want to save money for travel....save money for tech items...and save money for the future and also investment.
