King of the Pirates

i was once...king...and then..i step down and went underground.
its nice to be in the underground...i hated to be with parasites in the top floor, they will feed all the energies they encounter.

im glad that im not one of them..

Home Alone

its a crazy week for me.. coz im already starting the editing and post production for Gary Mayoralgo's Star Wars fan film title "Checkmate", too bad that the original edited film was deleted when his laptop got corrupted and reformated.. now im doing the 2nd editing job alone.. and im glad that Adrian Arcega still has the Digitize opening crawl title of the fan film.

Im running out of time here, and i told our director that it will be finished until tomorrow. my Pc has a fast processor, rendering the film has no problem, but one problem is that my editing software is so past Jurassic, and it crashed when ever there are too much layer of effects....damn..this software, if i knew that we will be doing this again.. i should have bought a new editing software..

but its nice that one of works will be featured at the Hard Rock Cafe Star Wars Halloween Party..and also..Elbert Or told me that the Greenhills Theater will be having their own Fan Film Festival, now im saving up all my energies for that film festival.. and thanks to Elbert for recommending me to the Theater.

while doing the job here. i just cant take my eyes of this English translated Manga comics, its fun to read these stories and being dragged to the anime world....after going back to the japanese music im into anime..just bringing the blood back.

and a little bit..animated..

ICA tour was the best!

thanks to all the ICAns for inviting us,, thanks to Angela Lim for helping us to hold the campus tour in their school, thanks also to her friends and classmates.

It was a busy day for all of us, and i jsut cant believe that we just pulled off another campus tour event,. a series of tours that I started since 1999. and im happy that the legacy still continues.hehhheeh

Its nice to meet these pretty girls in ICA, and they are very friendly.. I really enjoyed the school fair,...and it already tops my top 1 ASsumption school fair..and now..Assumption has invited us again to visit them in their school fair to hold another campus tour.

you didnt know that it was hard for us guys to be in a exclusive girls school, and im glad that they have this small restroom for boys. just like my bad experience in Mirriam School.. I was going to take a call of nature but theres no guy's CR, then the students told me to use a special CR for guys, which was originally a girls CR, then i told them to guard the door to prevent any girls to use the CR, coz im inside..doing my job,

but i didnt know that girls student i told to, left,. poor me,. i was speeding my job and then i was shocked that 3 girls student of Mirriam entered the CR, and they didnt know that im inside the other cubicle. so what i did is stayed silent and finished their talkies and private matters.

i just cant take it..these girls make a 'tambay' mode inside the CR, so i stayed in the restroom for about a hmm...15 min. waiting them to go out.
after they left..i escaped my female CR imprisonment right away.

thats a bad experience alright... but thanks to ICA for having their own guys restroom..for is our paradise hahhahaah.

i went to ICA at 9am and I meet up with Katch in Starbucks then we went to the venue for a little set up and then minute after minute, the ARtists' Den members showed up and then our campus tour has begun.

Rex Espino and Renson Gamboa of Ronin Core started the lecture on Anime and Manga Style, i was happy to see all these students got the interest in drawing and art. and also see young kids into basic drawing, while the lecture goes on.. i checked out their art and i just found out that these young kids learn easily.

Wilson Tortosa continues the lecture, more on basic figure drawing and some details on the character, a lecture for those who are amateur artists students.

then..Lyndon Gregorio and Ariel Atienza made some lecture on Cartooning and Comic Strips. I also talk a little on the history of Anime, and there Sherry Baet opens the lecture for a nice introduction of our group.

Day 2
I went there super late..for i recharge my energies and i am sick that time. but still my motto 'Never say die even if it kills' kicks on...

so i continued my management for the tour,, too bad that i didnt catch up Elbert Or's lecture about the 5 senses of ARt. then after that Ronin Core still continues to give lecture on anime style art.

then some students already came in and requested for the lecture on GAme Developing that will be conducted by RG Guanzon, then the lessons has started, RG showed them the Azrael Adventures in Merryland video game that he made for WAA!Soft., the students really did a good job on the small exams made by RG, great story and concept, and i know that these kids will be the future of comic-game industry in the Philippines.

Ryan Orosco did a great job on having a lecture on Basic Figure drawing, kids and parents was there to learn about constructing the correct human figure. some people requested that one of his example to be turned into a character "Darna" , then Ryan immediately showed them his awesome mutant power in drawing ehheheh.

then on the last leg of the lecture, Lico Reloj, talks on Cartooning Tips and Ideas, and it was a great lecture coz, Lico's style is some sort of a professional teacher ehheeh...

Many people went to our booth and many girls went crazy over to Lyndon Gregorio. and i didnt know that there is a large fan of Beerkada in ICA.
Ariel Atienza was so busy in making some caricatures for people who bought his CLASS folders. and students from left to right requested some personal artworks to the ARtists' Den. even my friend ICE aka Vanessa has her own fans..

during that time...i met nice girls like Gem and Gwen, they are sisters who have this great talent in drawing, Gem made me a SD character,, cute !!! and Gwen made this cool realistic art style, which we were blown away of her style. for the SD character made by Gem, i decided to upload this and use it for my blog site. thanks Gem and Gwen! hope to see you again soon in Starbucks Shangri la..aaahaha..tambay kame uli dun !!

well..what can i say ???
i miss them all !
those girls who help us, cheered us and appreaciated our works at the campus tour.

Memories by the River
Memories By The River
Words: Bobbie Lee
Music: Dawn & Azrael
music direction : Azrael

Stanza 1(C Em Am F)
In the river

You said those first words to me

And it felt so good deep inside me

And I said, I love you too

Chorus(Am Em F C)
And there was the time when everything

And I felt like bursting into tears

Deep inside… Hiding….

Deep Inside

Stanza 2(C Em Am F)
I remember the time long ago

We called your name and you came with us

You’ve been a part of us now and before

And these memories will never change

Chorus 2(Am Em F C)
And there was the time when you stared in my eyes

The window to my soul

Deep inside…Hiding…

Deep in side …

Stanza 3(C Em Am F)
As our feet were soaked in the river

Water streams, goes towards one way

The first move you made, lasted forever

As clouds slowly, dissolving away..

(One by one, they were all gone..)

Bridge(Am Em F C/Subject For Change)

Every time I come to this place

Joys & Sorrows have always encountered me

My tears falling down like crystals

Into the river

Flowing away

Stanza 4(Am Em F C)
In the river you said those last words to me

And it felt so good to love you

But you said goodbye..

Chorus 3
And there came a time when I regretted all my past

I wanted to tell you have I really felt

Deep inside.. It’s hiding

Deep inside.

Online game publishers
eyeing Philippine market
By Erwin Lemuel G. Oliva

FOREIGN online game publishers are considering the Philippines as another Asian market to launch massively multiplayer online role-playing games (MMORPGs) following the success of a South Korean game called "Ragnarok" in the country, a local game publisher said.

"A lot of (South) Korean content providers have contacted us offering their product," said Maria Java, Mobius director for corporate communications.

Mobius acquired the exclusive license to offer Webzen Inc.'s MU Online, a popular South Korean-born MMORPG, in the Philippines.

"Webzen Inc., is a publicly traded company in both the Korean stock market and Nasdaq. They're one of the leaders in Korea's gaming industry. So when the giant chose us, all these other game developers followed suit. A couple of them have actually flown over here to present their products to us," Java said.

Mobius, however, turned down offers to introduce other online games to the Philippines, and decided to focus on MU Online, she said.

She disclosed that Vivendi Universal Games was among the foreign game publishers that had done "some shopping" in the country.

Vivendi was looking at offering "World of Warcraft" through existing game publishers in the Philippines.

Java said that Vivendi was "tight-lipped" about anyone bagging the exclusive license to offer the popular online game in the country.

Filipino game developer Anino Entertainment is also looking at developing a local online game, one of its developers told

Anino developed the PC adventure game "Anito," which eventually bagged the best audio award in the Independent Games Festival in the US early this year.

Gabby Dizon, game developer for Anino, said that the local startup was thinking of developing a Filipino online game that would be different from existing games offered by South Koreans.

MMORPGs are computer games played by thousands of online players simultaneously. They usually feature sprawling environments, where players can interact, trade and even engage in duels, tournaments

'Matrix Online' invites
20,000 beta testers

By Erwin Lemuel Oliva

ARE you ready to take the red pill?

Starting October 19, 2004, the Matrix Online will start offering authentication keys to the first 5,000 beta testers. Through FilePlanet (, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and Sega will allow 20,000 people worldwide a glimpse of the much-talked about game inspired by the movie.

The online game is, however, only available to FilePlanet subscribers.

Starting October 19, FilePlanet will begin releasing the first 5,000 authentication keys to subscribers on a first-come, first-serve basis in a span of a month.

Once the keys run out for each week, the subscribers will need to check back the following week to attempt access into the sprawling world of the Matrix.

The FilePlanet website indicated that subscribers that are accepted into the beta test will be able to play the online Matrix game, and experience first-hand the sprawling urban landscape of subways, nightclubs, skyscrapers and dark alleys.

"You'll be part of the secret war that goes on underneath the pedestrian surface-a war of survival and control between Machines, Zionists, and Exiles," the website indicated.
