Enchanted Kingdom, the country’s first and only world-class theme park, has joined forces with the Elvis Presley Friendship Club Phils. Int’l., the only Filipino Club accredited by Graceland Enterprises and a member of the Elvis Presley Alliance of Asia that includes Hong Kong, Japan, Malaysia and Thailand, for a grand Elvis fans day be held on Saturday, January 31, 2009. January is the birth month of Elvis, the Greatest American Idol of all times, and Enchanted Kingdom invites all fans and enthusiasts of Elvis to join the fun and the festivities in the park. The celebration includes the Enchanting Elvis Singing Contest 2009, the Elvis Fashion Show by the Rise-up Models which includes 10 kids that will model Elvis costume and teenager boys and girls modeling the Era of Elvis. The climax of the affair is the Grand Elvis Concert featuring the Philippine best and internationally known Elvis Band and performances by the Philippines’ Best Elvis Tribute Artists.
A special registration table will be set up near the Group Sales office at the front gate of Enchanted Kingdom in the city of Santa Rosa, Laguna, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM for those who are in an Elvis costume of the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s, and want to avail of the FREE regular day pass to EK on the same day.
Various Elvis items will be on sale at the Enchanted Kingdom which will include Elvis Presley Friendship Club Phils. Int’l.T-Shirt, CD’s, VCD’s, DVD’s and Elvis Memorabilias.
All Elvis fans are invited to a fun and meaningful celebration of Enchanting Elvis 2009 on Saturday, 31 January, at Enchanted Kingdom.

Judging Criteria:
1. Contestants are male or female, not less than 14 years old.
2. Each contestant should have his/her own minus one record, either in tape or CD format. Faders are not allowed.
3. No lip singing allowed.
4. He/she should be wearing an Elvis costume either a jumpsuit or coat similar to Elvis get-up during the 50’s and 60’s.
5. He/she shall be willing to parade in full costume within the compound of Enchanted Kingdom at Sta. Rosa, Laguna, in front of visitors before and after the show.

Through the decades of the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s, Elvis made fashion statements that set him apart from the pack. Ten children will be wearing Elvis jumpsuits and teenage boys and girls will be modeling the Era of Elvis in a 30-minute fashion show..
PART 4 GRAND ELVIS CONCERT
Time: 7:00 PM
Venue: Eldar’s Tent
The concert will feature the best Filipino Elvis Tribute artists plus the internationally known Elvis Band.
