The great komikero, Mr. Alex Niño doing an art request from a bunch of fans who showed up at the Laurel House in Shaw Boulevard (the event organized by Ms. Imee Marcos and the Creative Media and Film Society or CreaM). This was one he did for me while he had a brief chat with Ms. Marcos.
I got surprised in a youtube video posted by Ariel Atienza, he posted it in his plurk and I'm now starting to wet my pants here at home seeing him in the flesh (only in video) doing a artwork request from Ariel, and he talked on the video and shared something about human drawing figures. Ariel also shared that Alex Niño can't believe that he is famous here in the Philippines, esp. to young comic artists, illustrators and veterans artists.
Alex Niño will be back..and hope... everyone will be invited...
sayang!!! i want to meet him in person, although I read more about him online and some magazines, and I also own a Heath Ledger Joker sketch done by him, got it from a from Ryan A. comics fans and friend in the USA ( met via Cerbo)
and its just amazing see him do that awesome sketch... and im not sure if it is Conan haahaha.
