1. What is SULITCHAT?

Note: There is a 160-character limit in sending messages to 2258. Characters in excess of 160 characters may not be received by the recipient of the message and will be considered as another SMS sent to 2258. This will be deducted from the YM chat SMS wallet or charged P2.50/160-character message if wallet is depleted. Subscribers are also required to maintain a minimum load of P1 to be able to send to 2258.
2. How do I register to SULITCHAT?
To register to SULITCHAT, simply text SC

Each message sent to 2258 will be deducted to subscriber’s YM chat SMS wallet.

3. How much will I be charged for SULITCHAT?
Registration to SULITCHAT will be charged P20. This is valid within 24 hours from the receipt of confirmation message from 8888. Note that regular SMS (P1.00) or YM SMS (P2.50) charges will apply once SULITCHAT wallet is depleted even prior to the expiration of the registration. This will also apply when subscriber sends SMS/YM SMS prior to receiving the confirmation message of his SULITCHAT subscription.

4. How do I start chatting using my YM chat messages?
Once registered to SulitCHAT, just text IN
Once signed in to your Yahoo Messenger account, you will receive a limited list of your online friends. To view more friends who are online, text GET to 2258.
To start chatting, text TO
Example: TO globebuzz how are you?
Once a friend replies to you, you simply have to REPLY to his/her message to continue chatting.
Messages sent to 2258 will be deducted from the YM chat. YM chat SMS (P2.50) charges will apply once SULITCHAT YM chat SMS wallet is depleted even prior to the expiration of the registration.

7. How much will I be charged for YMCHAT?

All messages sent to 2258 will be deducted from the YM chat. YM chat SMS (P2.50) charges will apply once SULITCHAT YM chat SMS wallet is depleted even prior to the expiration of the registration.
9. Can I use YMCHAT or SULITCHAT when roaming?
No, these promos are valid only within the Philippines. Subscriber will get a “message sending failed” error when attempting to register to 8888.
If a subscriber’s registration is still active by the time he/she is on roaming, regular roaming SMS charges will apply for Globe-Globe/TM SMS sent.* For YM SMS, prepaid subs sending to 2258 will be charged P25 (international VAS SMS rate) and will be deducted from the YM SMS wallet for the transaction, while postpaid subscribers sending to 2258 will be charged applicable roaming rates and will be deducted from the YM wallet for the transaction. If YM wallet is depleted, subscribers will be charged P2.50/SMS on top of roaming SMS charges.
Subscribers may still receive messages from 2258 subject to applicable incoming roaming SMS rates with partner operators*.

10. Can I avail of SULITCHAT and YM CHAT simultaneously?
Check if subscriber is a GHP prepaid or postpaid subscriber.
If Prepaid subscriber: Yes, you may avail of both SULITCHAT and YM CHAT simultaneously and wallet allocations will merely accumulate. Expiration per wallet will follow the latest expiry. E.g. Register to SULITCHAT at 1:00 PM then register to YMCHAT at 2:00 PM. Regular SMS wallet will expire the next day at 12:59 PM while accumulated YM wallet will expire the next day at 1:59 PM.
If Postpaid subscriber: No, you may avail of only 1 promo at any given time. To avail of the other promo, de-activate your current registration by texting OFF SULITCHAT or OFF YMCHAT to 8888.
11. How do I know when the registration will expire?
Both SULITCHAT and YMCHAT registrations are valid within 24 hours from receipt of confirmation message on successful registration. Note that once credit allotments for Globe-to-Globe/TM SMS and YM SMS are depleted, regular SMS* (P1.00) and YM SMS (P2.50) charges will apply even prior to the expiry of the registration.
Note: roaming rates apply if subscriber is roaming.
12. How can I check the credit balance of my YMCHAT or SULITCHAT?
To get credit balance text YMCHAT BAL or SULITCHAT BAL to 8888. This will be charged P1.00/inquiry. Note that for postpaid subscribers, only status or expiration of the registration will be reflected.
13. How many times can I register to the service?
For GHP Prepaid subscribers: You may register to as many YMCHAT registrations as you want. YM SMS credits will be accumulated and will follow the latest expiry. You may also register to as many SULITCHAT registrations as you want as long as you are not registered to _______(Please refer to the co-existence promo table to check promos that should not co-exist with SULITCHAT). Globe-to-Globe/TM SMS and YM SMS credits will accumulate its own wallet and will follow the latest expiry. (Refer to co-existence table for full details if other promo has been availed).
Example: A subscriber registers to SULITCHAT at June 1, 1:00PM. Wallet allocation is 100 Globe-to-Globe/TM SMS + 30 YM SMS which will expire on June 2, 12:59PM. If subscriber registers to SULITCHAT again on June 1, 2:00 PM, wallet allocation will now be 200 (assuming that no SMS was used up yet between the 1st and 2nd registration; otherwise, whatever is the balance SMS at the time of the 2nd registration will be carried over to the next expiry) Globe-to-Globe/TM SMS + 60 YM SMS, all of which will expire on June 2, 1:59PM (later expiry). If subscriber registers to YMCHAT on June 1, 3:00 PM, wallet allocation will now be 200 Globe-to-Globe/TM SMS which will expire on June 2, 1:59PM plus 90 YM SMS which will expire on June 2, 2:59 PM.
For GHP Postpaid subscribers: You may only register once at any given time. If credits are depleted prior to expiration of SULITCHAT or YMCHAT, just text SC OFF or YMCHAT OFF to fully deactivate the registration. Once de-activated, subscribers may now register again for SULITCHAT or YMCHAT.
14. Can I avail SULITCHAT or YM CHAT with other SMS promos like UNLITXT, SULITXT, or ETXT?
Depending on the promos availed, subscribers may register to SULITCHAT and/or YMCHAT on top of other SMS promo registrations (or vice versa).
Check if subscriber is (1) prepaid or postpaid, (2) which exact promo offers are being availed of by subscribers, and (3) what channel was used in the existing promo subscription, i.e. SMS registration or via AMAX (Russia/Gyro). Refer to co-existence table provided for complete details.
15. I received the confirmation message that my registration is successful, how come I’m still being deducted P2.50 for my transactions to 2258?
Ma’am/Sir, we will check the details of your registration.
1. Check if registration is valid. If yes, proceed to #2. If no, raise issue to ISG helpdesk for verification.
2. Check available credits of YM SMS wallet. If zero credits, advise subscriber that wallet has already been depleted, therefore regular P2.50 charges apply. If there’s still available credits in the wallet, raise issue to ISG helpdesk for verification.
16. I received the confirmation message that my registration is successful, how come I still can’t seem to send to 2258 – Message Sending Failed?
Ma’am/Sir, we’ll check the details of your registration.
1. Check if registration is valid. If yes, proceed to #2. If no and subscriber is charged for registration, raise issue to ISG helpdesk for investigation.
2. Check if load balance of subscriber has at least P1.00, if yes, proceed to #3. If no, advise subscriber that he/she must maintain at least P1.00 load to continue sending to 2258.
17. How do I start using my YM SMS?
For subscribers registered to SULITCHAT or YMCHAT, make sure that the confirmation message on successful registration has been received before sending SMS.

Note: All messages sent to 2258 or 2258xxxx will be deducted to your YM SMS wallet. P2.50/YM SMS will be charged once YM SMS wallet is depleted even prior to the expiration of the registration. Refer to YM SMS FAQs for full features/keywords of the service.
18. If I am subscribed to both SULITXT and SULITCHAT, will my P2P SMS reflect the balance of my SULITXT alone or including the Globe-to-Globe/TM credits allotted in SULITCHAT?
If a prepaid subscriber is registered to both SULITXT and SULITCHAT, Globe-to-Globe/TM SMS credits reflected will include the accumulated total of your Globe-Globe/TM from SuliTXT and Sulitchat. Expiry date of SMS credits will follow the expiration of the last registered service. (Postpaid subs are not allowed to register to both SULITXT and SULITCHAT simultaneously therefore will reflect one wallet only.)
Note that YM SMS credits will still expire based on the SULITCHAT expiry or any later registration of YMCHAT or SULITCHAT.
Example: Subscriber registers to SULITXT on June 1, 1:00 PM. Wallet allocation will be 100 Globe-to-Globe/TM SMS which will expire on June 2, 12:59 PM. If subscriber again registers to SULITCHAT on June 1, 2:00 PM, wallet allocation will now be 200 (assuming that no SMS was used up yet between the 1st and 2nd registration; otherwise, whatever is the balance SMS at the time of the 2nd registration will be carried over to the next expiry) Globe-to-Globe/TM SMS + 30 YM SMS, all of which will expire on June 2, 1:59 PM (follows latest expiry for both wallets). If subscriber checks balance by texting SULITXT BAL to 8888, remaining credits will be 200 Globe-to-Globe/TM SMS (reflecting both SULITXT and SULITCHAT allocation of SMS). If subscriber checks balance by texting SULITCHAT BAL to 8888, remaining credits will be 200 Globe-to-Globe/TM SMS + 30 YM SMS.
19. How will my registrations be reflected in my postpaid bill?
Your SULITCHAT and YMCHAT will be reflected as one-time registration charges.
