OUR LADY OF LOURDES GROTTO
Everyone knows this iconic stairs of the grotto here in Baguio. Almost everyone who’ve been to Baguio dropped by here to try the hundred steps of stairs and offer a prayer above to the Lady of Lourdes. I remember back in the 80’s I went here with my family and climbed the stairs non stop, me and my cousin race to the finish and its funny that we feel that we’re going to die after tiring ourselves, I promised that I will never do that again hahha.
Also, I asked our Baguio blogger friend Vincent if how many times did he visit this place, he mentioned that he always visit and sometimes do jogging here every morning.
As in jogging!! oh wow!!!! Now I admire the people of Baguio because they really got lots of foot and climbing powers
As usual, the grotto steps are free from street vendors and other street dwellers, but expect vendors below and front of the stairs.
I learned that there’s a road that can take you to the middle part of the grotto, its like skipping a few hundreds of steps and taking a quick short cut if ever you have your own private vehicle. That’s a good start for newbies and also senior people who don’t have the energy to climb up way from below.

Lots of people infront praying, taking photos and taking a photo selfie with the image.
Its hard to take a better photo of this site because its too crowded.
