Bikram Yoga Alabang offers free yoga classes in October

Bikram Yoga Alabang (BYA), hottest fitness enclave in the Metro South, will offer free Bikram yoga classes during weekends for the whole month of October.

Bikram yoga is a type of yoga performed inside a heated room, typically at 40 degrees Celsius. Its signature series of 26 postures (asanas) and two breathing exercises (pranayamas) help promote overall well-being. The practice improves concentration, determination and self-control, and enhances confidence. This type of yoga is also perfect for those who want to lose weight and fight stress as it contributes to a general feeling of wellness and peace.

"We want everyone to experience the benefits of hot yoga so we're opening BYA for those who'd like to try and start their own yoga quest," said Ginger Diaz, studio director of BYA. "Try it first and get started on your journey to better health."

On October 26, the studio will only hold one class in the morning to give way to "BYA Shares the Love", a special yoga for a cause anniversary event.

Individuals who want to avail of the BYA's open-house promo must pre-register before the start of October. For more information on BYA's free yoga classes, call (02) 846-549 or visit www.bikramyogaalabang.com and facebook.com/bikramalabang.

BYA is located at the 2nd Floor, Commerce Center, Commerce Ave., Filinvest Corporate City, Alabang, Muntinlupa City.
