A new seaport was launched at the bay side of SM MOA Complex -- the new Esplanade Seaside Terminal, the new terminal can service three partners of the terminal – Prestige Cruise, Sun Cruises and Orient Craft, these ferry operators organizes trip and tour in Corregidor island and also a sunset and dinner cruise along Manila Bay and bay side of SM Mall of Asia. The new terminal can also service incoming local and foreign vessels if they want to dock at the Esplanade Seaside Terminal (I’m not sure how big is the vessel required).
This is a good area to accommodate ferry operators – old or new, For now, we are no longer need to go to CCP by the Bay terminal to ride these ferries, and I’m not sure if they will close the old seaside terminal there because the Esplanade Seaside Terminal is much better, safer and convenient to us commuters.
The new seaside terminal also offers a wide and safe parking lot, close to food establishments and shopping stores at the SM MOA, and its accessible to commuters and people who drive thru.
My only wish is that next time they can open this terminal to service a ferry travel to Cavite, Batangas, Mindoro or Bataan. It will be more convenient to travelers when they are in Manila, but I’m sure that the Esplanade Seaside Terminal will add more service soon, so as for now, lets enjoy the convenience.

Here’s a short walkthrough around the Esplanade Seaside Terminal

There’s the party boat!

My view at the loading dock of the seaside terminal

Small lights that can guide the ferry boat at night

That’s how we dock, they placed a floating platform as our bridge going to the ferry.
This is a precautionary standard to prevent the ferry from hitting the docking concrete.

Lou Sv is excited to ride the ferry
