I
was in Tagaytay during the Halloween weekend and I heard about from our friend
Eli that Ash vs. Evil Dead will be available exclusively on HOOQ starting Oct
31, 2015. I was itchy to back home and finish our sembreak vacation, because our
internet in Tagaytay is not cooperative and I just want to go back home just to
watch Ash vs. Evil Dead.

Ash
Williams is one of my favorite actors after I saw the movie ARMY OF DARKNESS, Im
such a zombie, dracula and evil dead fan back in the days when Laser Disc are
popular during the 90’s.
After the success of ARMY OF DARKNESS, we
wished that Bruce Campbell as Ash Williams, goes back in time to defeat these
demons summoned by the Necronomicon book. But for this new tv series we now see
the time and setting is placed in the modern time. No more time travelling or
hibernating, the real demon slashing hero is back!
”Give me some
sugar, baby” – One of the funny and iconic lines, expect it to hear it again in
this new saga of Ash and the Evil Dead here in the new TV Series.
Next
episode will air online on HOOQ is on November 7, and the TV series run the same
as it happens on the USA.
For HOOQ, they are the first to distribute
it to Asia with the same regular timeslot as it airs the same new episode in the
USA
Bruce
Campbell reprising his role as Ash Williams from the original Evil Dead series
as the chainsaw-wielding, monster-shredding slacker. Anti-hero Ash Williams,
now somewhat aged but still quick-witted as ever, fights the forces of evil that
turn unsuspecting people and inanimate objects into wise-cracking killing
machines called Deadites. Ash vs. Evil Dead also features franchise newcomers
Lucy Lawless, Mimi Rogers, and Jill Marie Jones. Enjoy “splat-stick” at its
finest as the offbeat and endearing characters find themselves in gruesomely
hilarious situations with Deadites
