I
was hungry already and I have no extra energy left after covering the
procession, and my back was in pain and so I walk as fast as I can because I
need to re-energize back and take a rest too.
Since Im in Binondo area
already, the nearest restaurant to me is Quicksnack in Carvajal st. I was
planning to eat somewhere but since Im tired of walking already and want to take
a rest, I decided to stop there na lang.
Selfie
muna
I
spotted the street sweepers who are cleaning the roads after the procession took
place in this area.
The cleaning was fast and you’ll notice that the roads
looked normal again.
Entering
Carvajal st again
I think I can call this as one of my fave hideouts in
Chinatown.
There
goes Quick-snack restaurant
I
just learned about this years ago when Carlos Celdran did a walking tour with
Samsung
I
was surprised to see that Quick-snack upgraded its interiors.
They got new
tables and chairs and also a nice trivia wall about the origin of the resto
I
will miss the old set up and its vintage feeling.
But this is better and
it looks much more cleaner
They
also upgraded their menu and I think the price are still the same.
Best
sellers here are the noodles and oyster cake.
I
ordered an oyster cake for take out
and then I ordered this yummy Beef Pepper
Steak (PHP 285)
there’s
my Kujaku bottle again..waiting for a refill
They
don’t have a Nido soup on the menu, I ordered a Siomai soup but the waiter told
me that its already sold out.
Then I ordered this Bachoy soup (PHP
85)
They served it in a big bowl that can serve up to 4 person.
Ang mura
ng soup grabe.
Here’s
my lunch….. thank you Lord!
I
sent a message to Ted and told him that Im eating my lunch already, then I
received a message from Ted that he is stuck in Sta Cruz because the Black
Nazarene is already there. I told him to be careful and will see him next time.
After my meal, I proceed to my way home.
This
7 Eleven store near Dasmarinas st. is reinforced and secured by steel
barricade
good job!
Here
I wait for my jeep ride to UN Ave
I will ride the bus there going to Cavite.
Good
bye Chinatown!
check out that jeepney’s long body. hahaha.
At
home..everyone were so happy that I brought them an oyster cake from
Quick-snack
we ate this for dinner.
then
I hydrate myself again with fluids…thanks to this Pocari Sweat for charging my
body again.
