The Philippine International Pyromusical Competition 2016 ended last Saturday with a large bang! The finale and closing performance from the PH rep (Platinum Fireworks) really showed the world that the PH can be a show stopper when it comes to music performance and pyro display.
They launched the magical feat right after the Earth Hour celebration, they showcased the symphonic music by a 60 pc UST Symphonic Orchestra, live song act by the pop star princess Sarah Geronimo and an awesome pyro display at the bay and also behind the audience area.
It was a 360 degree of pyro lights and sound, all are sync together. It was the first time that the organizers of Philippine International Pyromusical Competition 2016 do this kind of stunt and they are very successful in doing it. During the performance, the audience didn’t stop them to say wow and whoa in every minute of the show. The PH closing performance lasted for 23 minutes.
At the last of the pyromusical contest, one last country -- France performed first before the Earth Hour celebration, and after the 3 exhibition – France, PH closing and PH finale performance, the organizers of the pyro event announces the winners for this year.

1st runner up - Germany (Steffes-Ollig Feuerwek)
2nd runner up - China (Polaris Fireworks)
