We were in the south that day and it was Father’s day, we drive Alabang and Daang Hari looking for a place to stop and eat our early dinner. After having a stop over at Vermosa dirt bike course, I told Ted and Enzo that we are almost near in District Ayala Mall in Imus and we can arrive there in just 5 minutes and we can eat our dinner there.
When we arrive in that mall, all restaurants are jam packed and full, we figured that it was Father’s day and everyone are having their own celebration.
Too bad that the restaurant I suggested is already closed, I was targeting to eat at Sumo Sam, but then we spotted this café that serves Asian meals with a different concept

Welcome to Buku Buku Kafe.
We learned that this café and resto is operated and owned by young entrepreneurs.
They decorated the café with lots of books and set up a freedom wall where you can post anything you want to say on a post it.

You can borrow the books for FREE, all you need to do is deposit a valid ID, just like your ordinary library in school.
Btw, the books above the ceiling is just a display, they have a book shelf standing on the side of the restaurant.

While waiting for our food..Ted did some test with his new camera
The Ricoh Theta S.
A kind of camera that can shoot 360 degrees photo and video.
Here’s their menu

The pricing of their food is just okay. Pwede na and kaya naman ng bulsa.

Here’s the book shelf

They also have a collection of board games which you can borrow
They are located at the counter.

Hugot board

Enzo still selecting his dinner meal.

I was expecting the conventional arroz caldo, but they delivered me a different kind of arroz caldo. Wow!! galeng ng concept na ito. The black rice tastes like an arroz caldo…oh wait, this is really an arroz caldo
The Thai spiced chicken is also good.. Masarap and the best part here is that…its not oily.

Our dining experience at Buku Buku Kafe as first timer is a winner.
It didn’t disappoint us, they offer plenty of awesome services like books, game boards, they have their own CR and also shares free WIFI to their customers.
