OPPO camera phone and known as the selfie expert launched the OPPO F1S, a new line of their selfie expert brand that comes with greater tech specs and best for taking selfies. Our country known as the selfie capital of the world is the best market for this, because the OPPO F1S is equipped with a 16MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture, a good aperture specs to capture more light when taking a front selfie.
OPPO F1S was sold out during its pre-order stage, but don’t worry, you will see more of this new selfie expert camera phone in local stores after the end of this month.
OPPO launched their new camera phone at Pico de Loro resort and I’m surprised that the OPPO brand is the top 3 phone in the Philippine Market. Also, a few days after, I saw another ranking that was showed to us that mentions OPPO is the top 3 for the South East Asia market.
It’s a surprised that OPPO really catch up the market by releasing OPPO camera phones with best tech specs.
We really need it – better specs and stable mobile machine that is really worth to buy.

You can see that the OPPO F1S and F1 Plus has the same size 5.5” screen display, but it looks like that the OPPO F1S got a bigger body. My OPPO F1 is much smaller because it has a 5” screen display only. In the past, I have a hard time handling a bigger phone, but then I found out that a bigger phone is much more fun to use for entertainment and internet surfing. And the tech trend today is that bigger phone is the most preferred size of tech consumers, usually 5.5” is the best size.

OPPO’s F1 selfie expert line always come with a white frame body and the only thing with color is the back casing of the phone. OPPO F1S is available with Gold and Grey back casing color. But for everyone, they love the gold cover rather than the grey version. Its funny that a white OPPO is sometimes mistaken as an iPhone.
OPPO’s fingerprint scan tech will enable the user to unlock their phone in one single finger scan. No need to press the screen or move a button. All you need to do is place your finger and let the OPPO F1S camera phone scan it to unlock the screen.
According to the OPPO tech spec, you can also do a customized fingerprint scan command to launch an app.
The button at the front is also the HOME button
The 16MP front camera is the main selling feature of the OPPO F1S, it takes a clear and sharp selfie photos straight from the camera with /f2.0 aperture.
I noticed that the front camera is built only for taking selfies. I tried using it for long shot, but it encounters a bit of miss focus. It means that the front is perfect for taking selfies via handheld or with a selfie stick.
You can see the clear and sharp photo taken from the 16MP front camera.
Its more clear and different from other smartphones with selfie enhancement.
After the launch event at Pico De Loro, OPPO Philippines loan us a OPPO F1S to test it and use it in taking selfies around the resort.
So we played with it and use it to surf the net, chat, do Facebook and Instagram and also take selfies.
