Naxional, a South American-themed diner just opened last August 2016, they feature 10 kinds of South American cuisine that came from their respective state. If you have tried Mexican, Brazilian and Cuban cuisine, then you have to visit Naxional to try more of their authentic kind and be a food explorer for a day.
I was there during their grand opening, and I can say that everything is good and Instagramish. For me its a first to try these Argentinian, Puerto Rican and Bolivian dishes.
Naxional is located at the 2nd level of Uptown Parade in BGC. Naxional is a new resto concept by restauranteur Raymund Magdaluyo, of Red Crab Group. Naxional was born after a team up with Jun Sunga, Vanessa Matsunaga, actor Daniel Matsunaga, their mom Gege Matsunaga and Lifestyle Network tv host Cynthia Patos.
The way they presented their South American food came from the style of the cooking of a mom for the family. So when you dine in here, you expect dishes that are prepared and conceptualized by South American moms, because in South America they enjoy dining together as a family, and this is similar on the customs we have here in the Philippines. Also I found out that Vanessa and Daniel Matsunaga's mom handcrafted all of the recipe for this restaurant, with a touch of a South American mommy.
Some food will remind you of our local dish, but then was cooked, prepared and with a different taste with South American style.
