Wish 107.5, the FM radio station that supports OPM artist, new artist and Youtube singers, just announced the schedule of their 2nd Wish Music Awards 2017 to be held at Smart Araneta Coliseum on January 16, 2017.
Wish 107.5 is not just a radio station, the radio station brand is also a Youtube channel that give support and highlight to our local talents and also they are an award giving body for the Wish Music Awards.
There will be an online voting at their website - www.wish1075.com/wishawards
Online voting will comprise 50% of a nominee’s total score, while the other 50% will come from the votes of a select panel of judges. Polling period is until 12 noon of January 16.
Each Wish Music Awards (WMA) winners will be given a chance to donate their prize PHP 100,000 to their chosen beneficiary. And an added cash prize worth PHP25,000 will be awarded on each artist who won a WMA.
Wish 107.5 states that they are giving away a total of 1 Million pesos worth of cash prizes just for this WMA 2017.
The Wish Music Awards will be based on the artists' performance live on radio and also recorded for Youtube. It will be based on judging, voting and also number of Youtube hits online.
Categories include Best WISHclusive Performances (by a Group or a Duo/Young/Female/Male Artist), Wish Original Songs of the Year (by a Group or a Duo/Female/Male Artist) and Wish Artists of the Year (Young/ Female/ Male).
OPM artist awards - Wish Promising Artist, Best Wish Cover, Wish Reactors’ Choice Award and WISHclusive Viral Video of the Year.
