February 18, 2017 - For the birthday month of my wife Lace, she organized another summer outing for our family and also to celebrate her birthday! I was not aware at first that she booked already a day trip stay here at Ellada Hotspring Resort in Pansol, Laguna. Im not sure how she discovered the resort, maybe thru a Facebook sponsored ad or something she Google research about private resorts in Pansol, Laguna.
When she told me that she wanted to have a birthday outing in a private resort, after she mentioned to me "Pansol", the thing that came to my mind is that...private resorts might be old, not clean and uses hot spring water, something that she might not enjoy because of the natural hot spring.
But when she showed me the photo and a video on Youtube about Ellada Hotspring Resort, I gave her two thumbs up for doing the resort hunt and yes....our summer outing part 2 happened few weeks after our Munting Buhangin trip
We left our home in Cavite at around 5am and travel from Cavite-MCX-SLEX-Calamba-Pansol for aound 2 hours
With the use of a Google Map and Waze, we reached Pansol, Laguna smoothly and after we arrived we noticed the colorful inflatables and resort barkers are on the side of the road, a landmark to notify us that we are in Pansol, Laguna.
We entered a residential area near to this big chunk of rock standing in a small mountain. Ellada Hotspring Resort is here at
Diwata St., Maria Makiling Subd., Pansol, Calamba, Laguna
We arrived at 7am and we called the caretaker to let us in.
This private resort rate is
PHP 10,000 for day trip stay only, from 7am-5pm only.
The overnight stay rate is different and I think it can be from the range of PHP15,000, night time to overnight stay from 5pm-6am ( inquire at Ellada to know the exact rate and schedule)

The dining area of Ellada Hotspring Resort
tip: Make sure you close the gate to prevent the local vendors in entering the private resort. There's a time that the we forgot to lock the gate, one buke pie vendor entered and offered us to buy his buko pie. When we saw him enter the gate, we told him we're not buying and then we closed the gate right away. Sometimes the vendors peek on top of the gate, so just say no if you are not buying so that they can go away.
For our first pool activity -- photo and video shoot again with Lace and Ash.
Fun underwater shoot.
Me and my family invited the entire housemate to join with us... finally complete attendance.
My fave activity...snorkel around kahit nasa hot spring pool
Ash's activity....water gun!!
Ok nagsisi na ko sa water gun, I bought that manually pressed pressurized water gun at Daiso for only PHP 88. Ayun lahat kami na sprayed in Ash hahahah.
My funny moment at Ellada Hotspring Resort. Tumaob ako sa inflatable and my face landed first on the pool.
Relaxing time at the kiddie pool. The water is a bit warmer.
The best part here is that every day trip visitors can have a 2 hour jacuzzi bubble bath at Ellada Hotspring Resort. I didnt get to join with Lace and Ash, because I already showered and woke up from a 2 hour nap.
Everyone took a nap after 2pm, and we woke up at around 4pm to eat merienda and also prepared for a 5pm departure and travel to Tagaytay.
Also they have a dart board and table tennis. You can use it for free, just dont loose the ping pong balls.
Over all. Our experience here is awesome! Ellada Hotspring Resort removed my vintage memory of the old resorts in Pansol, Laguna. They are one of the 1st modern and beautiful private hotspring resort for me in Pansol. I did some research and the other good private resorts are in Rizal, but for Laguna, the only best that I saw is Ellada Hotspring Resort.
The hotspring pool warm temperature is just right, it means that its not too hot and not too cold. I remember during the 90s and early 2000s, some old resorts have hotter pools, it means that you can dive under because its too hot to handle, thats why my memory is that those old resorts offers a much more hotter hotspring pool, but here in Ellada Hotspring Resort, their pool is very kid friendly and the warm temperature is perfect!
