Vivo Philippines is proud to launch their new flagship smartphone for 2018. The Vivo V9, a new Vivo smartphone with FullView Display tech, the screen that covers the entire 90% of the body of the phone and the impressive part for the Vivo 9 is that it is pack with lots of AI or artificial intelligence on its system. It means that the Vivo V9 can help switch to a specific mode when needed for photography.
Some say it looks like an iPhone X, but taking a closer look, its really a Vivo V9 smartphone, thanks to its 6.3 inches display that covers almost all the front of the phone. There are no buttons and other thingamajigs, but you can depend is on the screen's magic button.
The body is not so big, not longer, not wider, but the size is just perfect to fit in your hands. Trying it for a few minutes, it gave me a nod already and said that "I want this phone too!"
I'm also impressed on the AR camera tech. For Vivo V9 you can now say good bye Instagram, Facebook and Snapchat AR stickers, because when using the Vivo V9 camera and switch to AR, you can play with the AR stickers and use it to have a much more entertaining photo.
Take a look on my sample, there's a cute bunny on my head. The AR stickers will update from time to time and you can also install and download different AR stickers on to your Vivo V9.
No buttons at the front.
You can unlock the Vivo V9 by facial recognition at the front camera or use your finger print by using the finger button at the back of the phone.
Vivo V9's AI Smart Engine learns how the users move and behave using the smartphone. It can predict the user's next move or it can help decide faster when using a certain app. The AI Smart Engine is a big help to save battery, energy and time for phone man and machine.
AI Face Access Tech is also present in Vivo V9, this tech can recognize the face and skin of the user, just to preven the phone from accidental unlock. If the user wants to unlock the phone, they need to lift the phone to look at it to unlock, or let the eyes speak for itself by looking at the phone.
AI Face Access can be use to block messages or calls when you are in a meeting -- actually I haven't tried this yet, but the feature is an awesome addition to the Vivo V9, but its a bit scary when the AI knows what you want.
Vivo V9 is now powered with AI Photography tech. The Vivo V9 is equipped with a dual rear camera 16MP and 5MP specs. The AI on the camera can see clearly on the subject and it can learn on the subject's form, color and quality. The AI will help the user to adjust to a better setting when it comes to photography.
There's also the AI Face Beauty, a much better tech to get the right or prefered skin tone for the person on photo, the AI machine can also determine of the person is male and female, the machine can auto adjust and records all data for future use on the person's skin tone quality and face beauty features.
Dont forget the front camera for the perfect selfie shot, the Vivo V9 is equipped with a 24MP front camera.
The Vivo V9 is super slim and light weight. It only carries a 3260 mah battery, thats why its very light.
Vivo V9 also introduced that their new flag ship smartphone is also good for gaming. This time they included a Game Mode on the system. It means that whenever you are playing a game using the Vivo V9, there will be no interruption while playing a game. A small pop control menu that will let you accept the call or read the messages, it will only pop up if you are playing a game and this will not interrupt you and cancel the game itself. With one swipe, you can accept it or just cancel it or read it later.
