If you plan to celebrate the Sakura or the cherry blossom tradition in Japan, then you no longer need to travel to Japan to enjoy the cherry blossom flowers and the start of spring time. But you can just visit Tenya restaurant to enjoy a sakura feast featuring Tenya's Sakura Tendon and Sakura Teishoku dine set.

To try this Sakura feast promo by Tenya, I visited their SM Mall of Asia branch to check if the price is right and if the serving is really good for my tummy.
As a man who need a bigger serving, I should be happy with this dine set.
Here are the two Sakura feast of Tenya
1. Sakura Tendon - PHP 355
Tenya's signature donburi meal (rice meal) - a set with Japanese rice topped with 2 black tiger prawns, itoyori fish, okiami kakiage, nori and green beans and added with original don tare sauce on top and with miso soup
2. Sakura Teishoku PHP 415
Tenya's 2nd sakura feast set with a basket of 2 black tiger prawns, itoyori fish, okiami kakiage, nori, green beans with cold somen, Japanese rice and potato salad on the side.
Hmm... The different with the two set is that Sakura Tendon is just a bowl, while the Sakura Teishoku is a tray filled with lots of side dishes.
For desserts they also have a Sakura theme cold treats.

Btw, ask for the tare sauce if you want more, I super love the tare sauce taste on my tempura and itorori fish.

It looks the same with the Sakura Teishoku, minus the potato and cold somen. They replace the cold somen with a hot miso soup

The entire set is already heavy in our tummy. But adding a nice hot fried Chicken Karaage is one bomb to end our dinner that night.
