Tong Yang Plus now accepts GCash QR Scan to Pay



You can now start paying cashless for your buffet, hot pot and grilled food  at Tong Yang Plus or other Tong Yang branches nationwide. With a few clicks using your GCash app, you can scan the QR code at the cashier area of Tong Yang and start pay your buffet access in an instant.


We just did a test run in their Tong Yang Plus branch in SM North EDSA and I can say that the cashless payment system via GCash is quick, secured and no hassle. You just need an internet to access your GCash app and use the QR scanner from the app to start paying your slot to access the unlimited buffet and hot pot.

GCash partnered already with several establishment, giving more convenience to customers when paying their items or for dining. And also this benefit for people who are having a hard time getting a bank account or debit card.

To apply for a GCash account, just register your Globe number via the GCash app, and fill up the personal information form to get a verification, then go to a Globe center and apply a Gcash card, so that you can use the card to withdraw money from any ATM machine.



Tong Yang Plus is a new brand of Tong Yang, its much more different because they serve some food that aren’t available in a regular Tong Yang restaurant. The “Plus” branch also has a good interiors and display, making a good vibe feel that you are in France or in luxury resto.

Its a very instagrammish venue for diners.



Here in Tong Yang Plus, each diner can choose their preferred soup base for their hot pot. I suggest you try the LAKSA soup, for me thats one of the tastiest soup base ever.

On each table there’s one grilling station to share with your seat mate. So if you book  two tables, then expect to have two grilling station for everyone on the table.



You can choose some raw meat for your grilling station.
Or get some dimsum and balls for your hot pot soup.

Take note that you can’t mix raw food and cooked food. You may use a different plate for your cooked food.  

Cooked food are also available at the other buffet station, you can enjoy a wide selection of Chinese food, Japanese and Pinoy food favorites.
