You’re still reading our day 1 of our new year 2015 tripcation in Tagaytay City. We ate our lunch here in our favorite carinderia or eatery of Nanay Deling. Wow! we’re surprised that she put up a tarp sign of her carinderia. Nanay Deling’s Eatery is the best carinderia here in Mahogany Market, because she cooks the food herself for her customers and its taste more better than others, plus the price is super affordable.
It’s a big discovery for us in search of the affordable food in Tagaytay, and we’re glad that we found this carinderia. Wet and dry market staff, bikers, and tourist usually eat their lunch here everyday. We also buy food for take out whenever we plan to go back home, it’s the only piece of Tagaytay that we can take home – tawilis, papaitan and dinuguan.
There are times that this eatery is closed due to the food are all sold out. If you want to eat here, I suggest you visit it before lunch time and also dinner time.

Nanay Deling cooks the best Papaitan food here in Tagaytay! yeahh!!

The fried and crispy tawilis are freshly prepared by demand
Its really hot and crispy. My son loves to eat tawilis.

My first time to taste their own version of Kare Kare…its good too! and I like the peanut buttery sauce and soft tongue meat of a cow.

The best seller ever is the bulalo.
