World Phoeey Pyro

yeah oh yeah! we went home soaking wet and it almost ruined our day, coz it rained so badly during our attendance at the World Pyro Olympics, and we planned it very well, like buying the ticket early in Jollibee, going there early.

there are lots of Pros and Cons in the event, and it seems that the organizers are doing their best just to make the visitors happy and comfy, SM Mall ASIA has ordered some strict rules in their area, like changing the pathway of the visitors, and then when the heavy downpour began they let the main entrance opened for exit and entry (thats the globe thingie, coz they dont let the outsiders pass the entrance you have to walk all the way from the Macapagal Church just to enter the main Pyro grounds).

back on day 1 as I heard, visitors walked a mile size road way to the seaside, and now they provided a free jeep ride from the entrance up to the seaside Esplanade area. too bad that there were only 2 jeep running the road, hope they grab a Bus or coaster next time.

If youre going, note this to your self:
bring a big umbrella.
extra shirt
or tent

coz youll die there if you didnt have those.

they still continue the fireworks, but Germany got a techie problem shooting those powders in the air and it last only for 5 min, and the Korea dances in the sky at around 8:30pm and we back out that time due to heavy rains and wet bodies and enjoy the shabu shabu meal at HAO restaurant in Blue Wave.

so what we did during our back out is that we claimed again our ticket and promised that we will watch it again on the 28th or the 29th.

too bad for the Orange and Lemons, they were washed away when the rain falls hard canceling the band show when they started a few strums.

well for this day......all I can say is WET AND WILD and LUGI !!!!!!!!!!!!

word of the day:
"lumalaki ang (insert anything here)"

World Pyro Olympics 2005

Putting on a fireworks show in your own backyard is costly and may prove to be quite dangerous. Going to the World Pyro Olympics (WPO), on the other hand, will afford you a great view to the biggest-ever pyrotechnic show in the Philippines.

Enjoy World Class Fireworks with the whole family at this year’s World Pyro OlympicsHappening from December 26-30 at the Esplanade, Pasay City (behind the SM Mall of Asia), you’ll get world-class fireworks whose effects you can’t hope to duplicate in your own backyard. The whole family can relax and enjoy the fireworks, while live bands and street performers entertain you.

Filipinos of all ages and from all walks of life is sure to enjoy at the Esplanade. Aside from the amazing spectacle of the never-before-seen fireworks, there will be great food, henna and glitter tattoos, magic shows, stilt walkers, fire-breathers and even inflatable castles- something for everybody! Kong is King!

one of my holiday wishes is to watch King Kong movie remake by LOTR director Peter Jackson, with respect to his works, I wanna watch it in the movie theater, and not in a pirated dvd, i just saw lots of it in Quiapo and I kept my eyes away from seeing some scenes of the movie.

I'm a hyper fan of this giant ape, thats give a result for a fan of giant monsters like Godzilla and etc., I watched the 80's movies of King Kong I think the last one was King Kong Lives, where he got a female King Kong and the army got troubled when they hide King Kong's son, and I think later on Kong died, I think that was the story (now thinks of watching the classic again).

hoping that I can watch it tonight and suit my self with a big coke and large chips enjoying the movie.

and all I can say that the classic Kong is much bigger than the Peter Jackson Kong.
and I'm glad that it didn't turn out like they treated to the American Godzilla.

ok..time to go
me and Lace wil be hunting gifts and stuff in Divisoria.
and update! I haven't bought anything yet for myself.

a Girl's phone-camera vengeance

//* i got this email forward and I was laughing at it to see two male perverts got caught on a phone camera of a girl. The girl return a big payback and sent this photo and statement to show people what a really nasty deed these two guy (in their office attire) did to her inside the MRT.

camera phone scandals and voyeur are rapidly growing.
and i guess this incident might ring a bell to everyone.
just read below the story. *//

This happened to my friend, MEI ORIAS--campaigner for Anti-Violence
Against Women. Those two guys is in for the biggest surprise of their

I was on my way to work when this happened. The whole story is on my
friendster blog. I just culled this part to share with you guys. I hope
this won't happen to anyone else because it feels so wrong.

I attached pictures, read on to find out what pictures I'm talking about...

I got off at Makati to take the MRT to GMA-Kamuning, my everyday
routine. I usually wait for the first train cabby to be able to save
myself a seat. But today, the train was already boarding when I got in
the station so I had no choice but to rush to the nearest open cabby
door, which was located towards the middle of the train. Needless to
say, all seats were taken so I just accepted the fact that I may not be
able to grab a seat for the rest of the ride.

I was wearing a striped sleeveless shirt, it had a low neckline but I
still looked decent and was ok with it. Besides, there was no cleavage
to show off anyway, so I was comfortable with my outfit.

A friend sent me a text message asking where I was, so I was busy
texting back that I failed to notice two perverts standing beside me.
One of them was actually trying to take a sneak peak of what was under
my low neckline. He even took out his cell phone. I was rattled by the
clicking of his camera phone that I actually saw him CAPTURING my
breasts! People sitting in front of us saw what happened and were
stunned. He showed my picture to the guy he was with and was pleased of
his handy work, dismissing that I saw what he just did. I was giving him
a stern look and when he did look back at me, he gave me a smirk as if
telling me that I cannot do anything about it. I got so infuriated that
I called a friend up just to have an excuse of broadcasting what had
just transpired to everyone on board the train and to show the two
pricks that I wasn't just gonna stand there and do nothing.

I was telling the whole story over the phone loud enough for everyone to
hear. The passengers started talking amongst themselves, some clearly
showing disgust for the two asswipes while the others whispering that I
was actually looking for trouble for dressing up the way I do.

Of course, I didn't just stop at embarrassing them. I took 2 pictures of
the sleazebags too. When I got off my station, I talked to the station
manager there and filed a complaint. I was endorsed to the MRT central
station where I will be submitting the pictures I took. MRT management
promised that they will be posting an ad at all MRT stations, using the
photos of the two pervs, as a warning to all others who have made
capturing of breasts, legs and other what-have-you's of women
passengers, their MRT pastime.

I don't know if its Filipino culture or it's just that people don't get
that no girl would want to be sexually harassed period. It is never the
girl's fault if she is harassed and it doesn't mean that if a girl is
wearing a sexy outfit that she wants to be hollered at or that she is
showing off her body and anyone is invited to take pictures of any part
of her!

booth flyer

this will be our booth flyer or poster, funny that the 4 of us will be occupying the booth.
I dont have yet some idea what to sell, and because of my lack of time to pack things and bring it to the venue,
I told Vic that I might bring some anime and jrocker printed shirts for sale, a shirt design that Lace sells last year, so I'm just getting my luck that we might sold those stuff there.

on the table.
I'm waiting for our meeting at the Megatrade Office, and also waiting for the AMDG group, (local publisher for Guild's War in the Philippines) for I will give them their Ingress forms and IDs, but funny thing is that they got already the forms at the event secretariat, its weird,... they should have claim it from me, coz they might get lost on the ingress set up coz they didn't know where they will be put and the name of the group they are under.

after the meeting with the megatrade officer, Vic arrived after an hour, then we proceeded to the booth and talk about some game plan that will happen for the coming 10 days of the Manila International Gifts Show.

this is the end of my post for today, i'll see you all at the megamall,
now I wish for more goodluck on the way to CSB hotel.
(shopping is coming into my mind! woooopeeee!) and btw...thanks to my sponsors. Posted by Picasa
