Hi everyone, welcome again to my new travel blog series and here I feature to you the nature wonders and tourist destinations at Cavinti, Laguna. I like to thank Herald Bebis for his awesome initiative to co-tie up with the LGU of Cavinti to organize a trip and tour for us. Cavinti, Laguna is not an alien town to me, it’s a very common town that everyone knows about it, but I thought that I know everything about Cavinti, but I learned more and my info was unclouded once more because I discovered new places and also stuff that is not written in our Sibika at Kultura books back in grade school.
But I have to admit, I know the town, but I visited the area accidentally during my youngling years. My family and relatives are from the town of Sampaloc, Lucban and Tayabas in Quezon Province, all route can be taken via Sta. Cruz-Pagsanjan-Luisiana-Lucban road, but one time, we took the long cut road and it brought us to Lumban-Cavinti road, there I first saw the Caliraya Lake and their Caliraya Spillway, which I thought to be a Nuclear Powerplant, because the tower spill way looks like a power plant, and the entire place is owned by National Power Corporation or NAPOCOR. It took me days to remember all those memories after I got a chance to visit Cavinti Laguna.
The only way to reach Cavinti, Laguna is to ride a bus going to Sta. Cruz, Laguna, there’s no direct bus going there, and that’s the first ride you must take if you want to see the Caliraya Lake.
Thanks to Herald for the instructions, and here I am at the DLTB bus liner terminal in Buendia Manila.

Here’s a guide
