I
need a warm up blog post because I was gone for almost 4 days and no new updates
posted in my blog, here I created a new post about my hang over and trip in
Baguio City for a 3 day non stop eating and food tour around the city. Thanks to
Vincent Tabor of
www.LakbayBaguio.com
and promoter of the Baguio Guide app for organizing an awesome food trip for us
Manila bloggers.
We left Manila last Friday at 3am and we arrived here in
Baguio at around 7am, it’s an awesome 4 hours ride via a Deluxe bus of Joy Bus.
I just cant believe that travel time going to Baguio is now easy and fast, the
most convenient bus ride is booking a deluxe or vip bus via online at
www.iwantseats.com.ph or just go to the
terminal and book your advance ticket.
Our
stay is again hosted by Azalea Residences Baguio, thanks so much for hosting our
staycation every year, It’s the most comfy and relaxing hotel ever in
Baguio.
check out their website at
http://www.azaleabaguio.com/
Rooms
for overnight can go as low as PHP 3000 per day.
Our
agenda on day 1-3 is to eat and try the home grown restaurants of Baguio and
also visit the K-Lite Foodies at the Hub food fair in Ayala Techno Hub in Camp
John Hay, it’s a 2 day food fair attended by food entrepreneurs who are based in
Baguio, most served are local food at can only be found in Baguio.
Before
I join the Baguio food trip or shall we say the Baguio Food Crawl, I want to
show first my breakfast for day 1.
We ate our breakfast here in Tradisyon
restaurant in Azalea Residences Baguio, here’s my cute food --- bacons, tapa and
eggs. I always do this because I want my son to see the cute foods that I make
whenever I’m in a hotel. Yeah, I posted this one in my FB and Instagram for him
to see it.
Our
first food trip is at Gogi Nara in SM City Baguio.
It’s a Korean restaurant
that serves hot pot soup, grilled BBQ and hot and spicy Korean cuisine.
sobra mura dito grabe!
We
were blown by the taste and the chili of this Haemultang soup of Gogi Nara, it’s
the best soup ever that can beat the cold breeze in Baguio. I super love this
and I feel that this soup will haunt me for days.
Good bye Kimchie Jigae,
this Haemultang is now my new fave!

to us your husband’s Korean specials
After
a long walk from SM City Baguio to our hotel, we dropped by here first in
Vincent’s established start up company – 5Space. It’s a collaborative office
space for everyone and also a marketing consulting firm for SMEs.
I also
learned that their office do blast away a 5 mbps internet speed to cater their
customer’s requirements, and ohhh you can drop by here anytime if you want an on
the fly office space for some days.
PHP 60 per hour for your mobile
office --- free internet, table and also free coffee.. and possibly…free client
referrals.
Near
5Space, we spotted the Live Long detox bar
It’s a super healthy and
nutritious detox bar for people who wants healthy food.
I also learned
that they offer 100% organic food, from veggies, to condiments and other
ingredients are all organic.
Live Long detox bar is one famous healthy
food supplier in Baguio City.
Veggie
sliders and that awesome tasty salad of Live Long.
You have to eat the top
first before reaching that yummy melons at the bottom.

Vincent
told me that this Golden Buffet restaurant that will be opened on April 20 is
the 1st ever stand alone eat all you can restaurant in Baguio.
hmmm,, I’m
super curious about their food serving, I will try this next time when I visit
Baguio again.
And
now we are here at Ayala Technohub in Camp John Hay for our main agenda, – eat
and eat and eat at K-Lite Foodies at the Hub food fair by K-Lite radio of
Baguio.
Here we tried the unique and tasty food concepts that can only
be seen here in Baguio.
I
super want to copy this food concept and serve it here at home hahahaha.. the
crispy french fries with salsa, or tomato sauce and prepared like a spaghetti,
is a best seller here in For Frying Out Loud store.
A
different style of serving a roasted chicken with special gravy sauce can be
tasted here in La Comida De Antonio Ristorante.
Its different, we tried
to compare it to Kenny Roger’s Rooster, but the taste is very rich of
herbs.
If you have time, better check out La Comida in Azotea bldg in
Session Road.
We
were overwhelmed with the presentation of food during the K-Lite Foodies at the
Hub. Its too many and I thought that we will try 2-3 food, but then I learned
that we should taste them all, one by one..wow!
I’m just glad that the
rain that night stopped.
We
met Chef Joaquin and his wife, we learned here about their home grown SPREADS
for your sandwiches or crackers.
at
Zing Dressing.
I
super love their strawberry salad dressing.
sayang!! sana bumili ako nung
andito ako.. only PHP 250 per bottle.

and Edel
We
saw this sign posted in one of the booth at the food fair hahah, actually, we
were taking some break before we call it a night when we saw this note.
We
end our food trip for awhile and will continue it the next day, because its time
for us to eat our dinner and also try some desserts at Everything Nice
It
looks like that everything in here is very nice hahahah
located in Ayala
Techno Hub.

Here’s
my food that night hahahah
Lemongrass hot tea and one slice of blueberry
cheesecake.
sobra busog na ko nito
The
eating didn’t stop there, because we haven’t finished our meal and we still talk
about food ahhaah>
I now accept the fact that Baguio is not just a
summer capital of the Philippines, but also a best food destination in the
North. IF you want to try something new and different, then you have to try and
stay here in Baguio City.
