There’s so many food that are featured this month at Spiral Manila, I think it’s the busiest ever for the start of the year 2016. At first, they will be into Korean food fest in the mid to last week of January 2016, and then move to Lunar New Year specials and then followed by the Valentines Day.

KOREAN FOOD FESTIVAL
Sofitel Manila starts the year with a Korean Food Fest this January 2016. The Korean food is prepared and cooked by award-winning Korean Master Chef, Jang Bo-Ik of Grand Ambassador by Pullman Korea, he will introduce his signature dishes through Spiral Manila.

Korean Wine Dinner this January 21, 2016 at La Veranda
4 course meals prepared by Chef Jang Bo-Ik, the food will be paired with featured Korean wines. The Korean wine dinner set up includes a Gayageum performance on stage, a Korean string instrument.
Rate per person is PHP 2,700 nett.
The Art of Making Kimchi on January 22, 2016 at the Spiral Korean Atelier
Guests will learn how to make Kimchi, the class will be headed by Chef Jang Bo-Ik from 3pm-4pm.
Rate is set at PHP 1,500 nett per person.
Korean Magnifique Chef on January 24, 2016 at Spiral Manila
A culinary showcase by Chef Jang, he will demonstrate the preparation of his signature Korean dishes from 12pm to 3pm. There will be screenings, Korean Fan Dance, photo op and dress up with Han Bok costume, Soju cocktail trolley and the contest for the best dressed dining guest sponsored by The Face Shop. Rate is a Spiral Sunday Brunch.
Korean Cooking Class on January 25, 2016 at Spiral Manila
Chef Jang will teach you how to whip up a traditional Korean dishes. This is an exclusive class featuring Chef Jang’s personal recipes. The class starts from 3pm to 4pm. Rate is at PHP 1500 per person.

LUNAR NEW YEAR SPECIALS
For the start of the Year of the Fire Monkey this 2016, Sofitel Manila introduces a grand feast of culinary offerings featuring their Spiral’s Chinese Culinary Artisan Chef Michael Tai.
Chef Michael Tai will feature the 10 secrets to happiness in a culinary interpretation of prosperity, longevity, friends, faith and fortune. The Lunar New Year food specials are scheduled to be offered on February 1 to 10, 2016 at Spiral Manila.
