I was finally introduced to this hotel near SM MOA, that tall hotel that you can see in the corner of Macapagal Ave and EDSA Ext. That green building is Hotel 101 Manila, a new hotel with 3 star grade that was opened last June 8, 2016. Its new, neat and a haven for hotel staycation in the city for the family, tourist, backpackers and business travelers.
Hotel 101 Manila is a perfect hotel for you if you are looking for a place to stay near SM MOA with an affordable rate. There are many hotels around that mall, and Im glad that Hotel 101 Manila is now open to serve as a new option for our staycation.
The hotel offers their 518 rooms, called Happy Rooms, each of the rooms are created equal and designed to have 1 queen bed and 1 single bed. Each rooms are facing the Manila Bay or SM MOA and the other side is facing the cityscape of Manila and Pasay.
Each room has a rate of PHP 4,300 / overnight stay. This hotel is always fully booked whenever there are big events and concerts at SM MOA. So book right away if you plan to stay here if you have plans to watch a concert nearby.
Hotel 101 Manila is operated by Hotel of Asia Inc, a joint venture company of Injap Investments Inc, Staniel Development Corp and Oishi Liwayway Group. If you been to Injap Hotel in Iloilo City, you’ll find some similarities of their rooms here at Hotel 101 Manila.
Everything is simple with minimalist design and all are uniformed with two colors – white and green.

The Happy Room of Hotel 101 Manila.
All rooms are designed the same. That’s a total of 518 rooms.
Its spacious and it can fit 3-4 people inside.
But they suggest three persons in one room.
Its best for a family of 3.
or shall we say it – 2 adults and 1 child.
Each room has its own window with pull down blinds.
At the 3rd floor you can view here the pool area and the skyline along SM MOA
At the 8th floor it’s a much higher level of the skyline and this floor is a perfect room to view the fireworks and night lights of SM MOA.

The most awesome feature of the Happy Room at Hotel 101 Manila is that they have its own mini kitchen. Hotel guest can now bring their food if they want to, and they can reheat it and also clean up the hotel utensils. Some may ask the room housekeeping to clean up the dishes, but Im sure others want to do it by themselves, especially those who bring their own food using their own wares.
I suggest you can bring your own dish washing liquid and foam OR ask the daily housekeeping to clean it for you.
The cabinet is available to keep your clothes and also for your bathrobe, foot wear and safe deposit box.

They mentioned that the pricing of snacks are the same like in a convenience store.
Not too pricey and the price tag is just right.

The best part here at Hotel 101 Manila is that they offer a swimming pool.
This is sooooooo important for us hotel guest.
Although that gym are not yet available as of now, The only thing they can offer for their hotel guest is to dip in a swimming pool – with a 5 feet deep pool for adults, a kiddie pool and a jacuzzi pool that you can use it anytime here at Hotel 101 Manila.

According to their house rules, the pool is open at 6am and it closes at 10pm.
Guest are required to register and wear proper swimming attire.
There’s also a bathroom with showers located in this area.

Hotel 101 Manila is just near SM MOA, you can walk going there in just 10-15 minutes.
But if you want to enjoy some more restaurants, just cross the street and go to Blue Bay Walk.
Meron cat café dun! so visit it.
But if you are in a budget, there’s Jollibee at the side of Hotel 101 Manila.
