At the capitol plaza, you can meet there different kinds of scarecrow art crafts, these are handcrafted by town folks for the contest organized by the Isabela Provincial Government. The contest is to set up a large scarecrow and a hut using products that are produced by their town.
I think the grand prize is around a PHP 1 Million pesos worth of government projects. On each hut there’s a scarecrow beside it resembling different kinds of the life of their tribe, or some popular person as a scarecrow design, I’ve noticed that many scarecrow entries resembles - Mama Mary and Miss Universe Catriona Gray.
Inside the hut is a store featuring their products that are naturally produced or made by their respective people. You can buy some items or food there and also have a free photo op with their scarecrow entry.
