Makan Ken at Inumin cooking contest - Bambanti Festival 2019 part 6

We attended and watch the live cooking contest at the plaza of the capitol where they hosted the Makan Ken at Inumin contest for the Bambanti Festival.

Its a cooking contest for the 25 towns of Isabela and I heard that whoever will win the contest will have a chance that their product be featured as a future business for everyone.

The live cooking was around 1 and half hours, so every cooking station got its own team to do the live cooking and plating for presentation. Judges from the food and beverage industry were there to taste and try the home cooked recipe by the town folks.

I know its hard to pick the winner, I’ve tasted some of the recipe and all of it are so good.

Each of the contest team participant will cook a food base from the Isabela longganisa, and then they can pair their home cooked food with their one of a kind beverage creations.

One food entry made me so curious to try it, its a dinuguan type of longganisa and the other is the corn based longganisa- all veggies content.
