Philippines leads neighbors in formulating ASEAN Tourism Strategic Plan

As the existing roadmap for the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) tourism sector expires this year, ASEAN tourism leaders convene anew to formulate new tourism strategies and program for the next few years.


The Philippines, responsible for the coordination of the overall ASEAN Tourism Strategic Plan (ATSP), is at the forefront of the development of this medium-term tourism plan, targeted for completion by end November of this year. An interim draft of which has been presented for discussion at the recently held ASEAN Tourism Forum attended by the Philippines early this year at BRIDEX (Brunei International Defence Exhibition Center) in Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei.

The First Avenger : Captain America - Bucky will be in the movie

After the big news that Chris Evans will star as Captain America for the mvoie, and now we got heads up from Marvel.com that Sebastian Stan will play as Capt. America's sidekick Bucky. The movie will be directed by Joe Johnston and script written by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely.

The target of the film release will be on July 22, 2010.

I just saw this video on the net and its the IDW own version of the iPad Comic App, all comics from IDW like Transformers, GI JOE and Star Trek can be downloaded via iTunes and save it directly from your iPad unit. I'm curious to watch this anime "Summer Wars", got a copy from Mark Santos were they watched the anime while ago here in Mark Cerbo's house for the holy black geek meet up Saturday. The story is about how people live with social networking sites and the internet, and what if their lives are being controlled by social sites hackers and how it affects them in the real life.

Kenneth Cobonpue is a renowed furniture designer based in Cebu City. A graduate of the Pratt Inst. in New York, Kenneth has won numerous awards and international recognition for his work in natural fibers and craft. His designs have been featured in the prestigious International Design Yearbook, Newsweek and TIME, and newspapers such as the Intl. The atrraction is divided to several zones - a replica of a colossal cave that it will lead you to door openings to other realms, after entering you will see the bouncing room with different activites of lions, then a revolving tunnel, hanging bridge and the Tarzan zone, also see how lions survive and battle the forces of nature inside the typhoon room. Visita Iglesia 2010 in Cebu part 7 - Our Lady of Immaculate Conception Church (Oslob)

Our Lady of Immaculate Conception Church in Oslob was built on 1830 and the church was destroyed by Filipino Guerillas during the World War II and latern on was restored and repaired by the locals. The church nearly got destroyed once again in a fire accident last March 27, 2008, the 19th century image of Our Lady of Guadalupe in the altar received no damaged as it was protected by a glass casing on the altar. The body of the church with made of coral stones stood still while the other part of it was burned down. Today, locals are starting to rebuild the damaged part of the church and installed new materials.

Visita Iglesia 2010 in Cebu part 6 - The Church of Patricinio de Maria (Boljoon)

The Church of Patricinio de Maria in Boljoon was declared by the National Historical Institute as a National Historical Landmark and by the National Museum as a National Cultural Treasure. Would you believe that the town locals are doing something to save the old church and they created the Boljoon Heritage Foundation just to help restore the church using its original style and materials.The Church of Patricinio de Maria was established on 1599, the church has two gates and also a separate bell tower that serves as a watch tower for incoming ships, as you see that the church face infront of the sea. The roof the church is originally made of tiles, but then it was damaged and the locals replaced the tiles with bricks.

The Senakulo (from the Spanish cenaculo) is a Lenten play that depicts events from the Old and New Testaments related to the life, sufferings, and death of Christ.

The senakulo is traditionally performed on a proscenium-type stage with painted cloth or paper backdrops that are called telon. It takes at least eight nights - from Palm Sunday to Easter Sunday - to present the play. Christ is presented traditionally as meek and masochistic, submitting lamblike to his fate in obedience to authority.
