Az video blog at Metro Comic Con 2010

here's my 8 min. video blog and a short tour inside the Metro Comic Con 2010 event in Megatrade Hall, I just got the time to visit the event and its my 1st time there, thanks to for my ID, I just discovered it 2 days ago that we have a booth inside. In this video features the booths, the attractions, the panel discussions on stage, comic artist interview and many more.

I like to correct myself here that the exhibit posted on the wall is from Alfredo Alcala and not Larry Alcala, and the guy who is on stage is Alfredo Alcala Jr. and not Larry Alcala. ahhahaa. so sorry, my mind is still out of the loop and not into my normal self. I should be prepared and write a script sometimes.

my coverage: Polaroid exhibit and event

I just saw the exhibit minutes before it was dismantled by the organizers and didn't know that it was their last day last night, and here I am taking some pics with the Polaroid booth, and saw the vintage Polaroid cameras. I also inquired about their Polaroid PoGo instant digital camera.

check out my coverage below

TECH: Polaroid PoGo instant digital camera that prints with no ink

I finally saw and touched a Polaroid PoGO instant digital camera, the only difference of this camera from other camera is that it has a built in printer inside of it and thus call it instant digital camera, it can print in an instant. Following the foot step of its old Polaroid camera version on the year of 70's and 80's and marked its death and discontinue of distribution of its materials, the new version sports with a brand new tech called Zink, a photo paper that can be used with the Polaroid PoGo and print it in the camera without using any ink, it was also called Zero Ink. Okay, after featuring the cars, here are car show girls or babes that was spotted on day 1. I saw Abby Poblador in a busy photo shoot with event goers aka car show babes photographers and saw also Karen Bordador who is busy in hosting and cover the event for car show tv program.

more pics below

MOTORING: hot and cool cars at 3rd Philippine International Motoring Show 2010

I was here at the day 1 of the CAMPI 3rd Philippine International Motor Show, a 3 day motor show event from Aug19-22, 2010 at the World Trade Center. The event showcased a lot of famous car brands, SUVs, commercial vehicles and local auto manufacturers and distributors. I arrived at the event in the evening and missed all of the car launching and conference in the morning, our President and Vice President was also present that morning for the ribbon cutting, but I do saw lots of cool and hot cars that I first see here only at the motor show. And one of the great attraction here is that they have 2 TIGERS in cage with a KIA concept car.

The theme of this year's event is "Drive the Green Road", its the theme of CAMPI for their event and they want to promote public awareness on the motoring industry's initiatives to help achieve fuel efficiency and reduce carbon emissions. They feature and showcase cars with the latest green technologies in fuel efficiency like some hybrid cars, clean burning, diesel powered vehicles.

my coverge : 2nd Cinexpo 2010 day 1 : 3D in pinoy movies

I arrived so late and been busy on the same day of the Cinexpo 2010, but I do caught some scenes and also some lectures by professionals. The venue inside is much more different that the venue last year in SMX, all of us were seated inside the cinema and they projected all the slides in the cinema screen, so everything is big and even the video of the speaker is projected too. Here are some scenes I saw at Cinexpo 2010

3D video coverage for your Birthday, Weddings and etc.
They played last night a sample video production of Johnny Litton's birthday and the video is converted and available for 3D, they gave us this 3D glasses, same glasses we use whenever we watch movies in 3D, but this quality is much the same with the 3D movies, but not on an IMAX 3D effect. The production is created by RSVP Films Studios and they converted the video into stereoscopic 3D version. I think this is just a test and might be another future application for Philippine movies. I'm now wondering if a local movie will bite this special effects and let's wait if one of the movie company will do a 3D movie this upcoming MMFF 2010.

In a coffee table discussion with Daniel Lee about brands and word of mouth

I met Mr. Daniel Lee yesterday in a coffee meeting for an interview session, he is the Regional Digital Director of Southeast Asia for Euro RSCG 4D, and he's here in Manila, Philippines for the 4th IMMAP Summit 2010 : The Digital Ripple. He is one of the speaker for day 2 and its about "Activating your Brand through word of mouth", I learn so many things from him especially about digital marketing and the use of word of mouth for brands, the success of it and some failures in using it the wrong way. We discuss on the effectiveness of some viral videos ads used by the brands including that Old Spice ad, the rollerbabies and a paint brand that give social responsibility in a country t He started first as a freelance and then work in Netherlands and now working at Euro RSCG in Singapore.

It's his first time here in Manila and he wants to go back with his family to have a vacation. He mentioned to us the word of mouth makers such as the people who are the connectors, the influenvers, and the mavens. He shared to me his forecast that in the next coming years that all brands will be much more smarter and there will be a need of more bloggers as the voice for the brand, it was such a great meet up and too bad that I missed his sessions this morning, I might send him an email and give some Q and A and also a follow up on some questions that I have listed last night. Thanks to the people of Agatep for the opps. in inviting me to meet Mr. Lee.

TECH: Nokia X3 Touch and Type mobile phone

Nokia_X3_touch and type_5
Nokia is back again in developing new designs for the mobile phone and in all design they have recently didn't attract me,but here with the release of the design of the new NOKIA X3 Touch and Type mobile phone, this new Nokia really catches me and want to type in my twitter and facebook wall and mention that I want to buy one ASAP! becasue it is the perfect mobile phone to merge the use of touch screen and the keypad, and that's without the slider feature, you know that I don't like slider phones with touch and type features, but here in the Nokia X3 seems to perform well and heard that it is the most slim phone ever developed by Nokia.
