#ChristmasAroundthePH: 3D Video Mapping Show and The Little Prince display at SM City Fairview

Our Christmas Around the PH blog series has reached the far reaches of the metro, here we landed in Fairview to visit the first ever mall in the region of North East Luzon.

I've been to this mall during my high school and early college years and its great to see that SM City Fairview is growing big and evolving to a much large scale mall.

There are no grand title for the mall but I think we can award SM City Fairview as the first mall in the country to have 2 Annex building, or maybe the first SM mall to have 2 annex buildings, and I heard that a 3rd Annex is on its way to give more shopping venues to all people of Fairview, so we watch out for it in the future.

For the Christmas season, SM City Fairview offers two attractions - first is the outdoor 3D video mapping show, then second the The Little Prince set up and display at the Christmas center piece area. Both attractions are free to visit.

Its been ages since my last visit, Im happy to see that SM City Fairview is fine and alive!!
Its super crowded when we visited because of the holiday season.
My last visit was years ago when Annex 2 was built and also the launch of their SM Cyberzone.

Because of our visit here at Bo's Coffee, I became an instant converted fan because of their new cafe concept! I like the new design of their cafe because it feels that Im at home and there are a lots of power plugs in every seat and table. Great job Bo's Coffee for remodeling your cafe and adding a long communal table for all diners.

Also, their Latte is super good!!!! there's something about the taste of their latte, maybe the milk they use is so perfect for my coffee

Im going to visit their other branch and compare the taste of it if its still the same, and if ever...they will receive my award for the best latte of 2016.

Another first for me is when I visited Sambokojin and it made me a new converted fan of their Japanese and Korean buffet restaurant. Not because of the price or buffet, but because of the food they offer.

It doesn't do the same as Vikings, but here you are like a King and Queen of the kitchen! because the resto staff will help you place food on you table, you can also order it and then let them cook it for you.

Another option is that you can also raid the buffet area and pick up all kinds of Japanese and Korean food to your plate and enjoy the dining heaven!

Bacon strips and beef strips...it was like a grand finale for me.

Ms Donita helped us cooked the seafood and the meat, thanks for her cooking skills, our food is cooked at its best form and not over cooked. If you are at SM City Fairview, just ask her to manage your table.

Another 1st for me and made me a convert fan after I visited the Miniso Japanese store. After I entered the store, I already spotted lots of cool items that I can buy for our Christmas exchange gift at home. Too bad for me that the line to the cashier is so long, I went there to ocular and took some photos for my next visit.

I also learned that the Miniso branch in SM City Faiview is the top best seller store among the other branches, it got the highest sales ever during its opening day.

We went to the Annex 2 Building and we spotted the giant Christmas tree as its Christmas center piece.

THE LITTLE PRINCE

Featured as their center piece is the diorama statues of characters from the movie--- The Little Prince

Dioramas are small to life size scale, for example this little house is almost perfect for our Bears of Joy.

Photo ops and selfie sessions are free and open for all. Just visit the set up here at Annex 2 building of SM City Fairview.

I haven't seen this movie The Little Prince, but looking at the statues and diorama reminds me of my childhood years.

Lots of Little Prince statues are displayed at the Annex 2 front entrance and also at the 2nd floor of the main building.

3D VIDEO MAPPING SHOW

SM City Fairview and EPSON collaborated for a month long 3D video mapping show. The video show is projected outside the mall and onto the walls of SM City Fairview. You'll notice this at night when you arrive along the streets of Regalado in Fairview.

Its a Christmas theme video loop playing from 6pm onwards.

The video is around 1:30 minute long.

A surprise character appeared in the video map show!
3 bears! hahaha go figure!

The 3D video mapping show will play til December 23 only.

My wife told me to buy some cashew nuts, Im glad that the mall is still open till 10pm. So I went to SM Supermarket and grabbed two bags of cashews.

Thank goodness that SM malls got everything we need!
