#ChristmasAroundthePH: Nickelodeon Glittering Holiday Parade in SM City Pampanga

Team #EATgetaway was at SM City Pampanga last Sunday to attend and cover the Nickelodeon Glittering Holiday Parade. The parade of Nickelodeon characters is scheduled every Sunday of December 2016, every 6pm and 8pm.

The event is free for all shoppers to watch the parade and skit of the characters, fireworks display and also a chance to have a photo op with their fave cartoon characters.

THE LONGEST MALL

Glittering Holiday Parade at SM City Pampanga

I've learned that SM City Pampanga is the LONGEST MALL IN THE PHILIPPINES. Wow!! I didn't know, so when we learned about it, with the distance of 980 meters (almost 1KM), I made a joke that if you walk back and forth for 5 times, then you can qualify to join the 5KM fun run for beginners hahahaa.

yup, we walked back and forth, for 2 times and we got lost inside...the mall is huge!! Lots of stores and never before seen branded boutiques that are available here in SM City Pampanga

The highlight of the day is the Nickelodeon Glittering Holiday Parade in SM City Pampanga
I thought that they will just parade around, but its great to hear that they will be doing a skit and also be part of the DINING WITH CHARACTERS that is scheduledevery Sunday at 4pm in Il Padrino restaurant.

Nickelodeon characters will visit a restaurant and join the fun with the dining guest.

SKY RANCH

The awesome addition here at SM City Pampanga is the SKY RANCH PAMPANGA.
Its different from SKY RANCH TAGAYTAY. here in Sky Ranch Pampanga, the entrance to the theme park is FREE, you can roam around and play with some booth games and pay as you ride to any park ride available inside.

Here we see the iconic Sky Ranch ferris wheel, just like in SM MOA, we call it MOA EYE.
Maybe here in Pampanga, they call it the Pampanga Eye.

BEARS OF JOY

Meet my Bears of Joy doll, I named him Merry the bear. I carry him anywhere I go. This is his 2nd trip with us.

Bears of Joy are sold at PHP200. You buy two dolls for the price of one, then you keep the 1st doll, and then the 2nd doll will be donated to SM Cares beneficiary.

CHRISTMAS CENTER PIECE

After walking the end of SM City Pampanga, we found at the other end is the mall's Christmas center piece.

Its a like a Christmas ball ornament with decorations and at the middle there's a magical grand piano that plays music on its own.

Also we spotted that they are raffling off a brand new Chevy car!

DINING WITH CHARACTERS

Its my first time to see this kind of activity! You get to enjoy your meal and also dine with your fave cartoon characters.

SM City Pampanga invited lucky shoppers via SMS to join the weekend dining with characters. The event was held at Il Pardino restaurant were kids and the entire family will meet the Nickelodeon characters one by one, and then all characters will drop by to dine with them, sobra fun nito!

GLITTERING HOLIDAY PARADE

At night, the Sky Ranch ferris wheel starts to glow!
It is also turned into the biggest Christmas Parol in the Philippines.

Shoppers are ready to watch the Nickelodeon Glittering Holiday Parade.
The show starts at 6pm and 8pm every Sunday only here at SM City Pampanga

Each Nickelodeon characters ride their own float with lots of back up dancers.
A tune of Christmas songs and Nickelodeon played through out the parade.
