#ChristmasAroundthePH: Tunnel of lights and Waterworks fountain show at SM Lanang Premier

Its another first for me to be here at SM Lanang Premier, when I heard about the opening of this mall years ago, I got so curious on what was it like, is it bigger than SM North? SM Aura or SM MOA? the highlight of the entire month of its opening is only focus to SM Lanang Premier, that's why I was aware of it and then the best part here is that this maybe the 1st SM Supermalls and a Premier mall of SM to have a connecting bridge from a hotel - Park Inn by Radisson hotel.

Okay, Im here and Its a wish come true to stay on that hotel and also visit SM Lanang Premier.

I asked why they call it SM Lanang? and SM Lanang Davao?? I got an answer from a rep of the mall and she said that the place where the mall is located is called Lanang, same thing to SM City Davao, some locals like taxi drivers call the SM City Davao as SM Ecoland, because the mall's location is at the Ecoland.

I don't know why, maybe its a name of the land where it got the title from its land owner.

I was asked by some people which of the provincial SM Supermalls is my favorite, its hard to decide which is which, my heart goes to SM Seaside Cebu City, but here in SM Lanang Premier, the experience and eye candy visuals are much different.

Here's my view from the top floor, I can see the entire atrium and that awesome Starbucks cafe at the 2nd floor that seems to be floating over a cafe from the ground floor.

Btw, their Starbucks Coffee branch here is so nice.

SM Lanang Premier features their Christmas center piece with a dose of Mickey Mouse and friends and also a giant Christmas Tree (could be the biggest tree here in Mindanao)

I also learned that SM Lanang is the first ever to bring a professional bowling center in Mindanao.

Just like in SM City North EDSA, SM Lanang Premier has its own version of Sky Garden, here they have a lot of restaurant, cafe, fountain area and small garden for shoppers to relax, enjoy the sun, wind and also indulge some seafood and sweets.

Enjoy the al fresco dining from the restaurants at Sky Garden. We didn't get to try kasi mainit, so we ate our lunch in Marina Tuna inside their resto kasi may aircon.

According to our contact here in SM, they just finished a Beauty and the Beast meet and greet few days ago, Sayang! we missed it.

I think Walt Disney is powering up their promotions for Beauty and The Beast because of an upcoming live action movie of the same title.

There are two kinds of Christmas specials and attractions available here in SM Lanang Premier
First is the Tunnel of Lights and then second the waterworks fountain and light show.

Tunnel of Lights installation is inspired from the Tunnel of Lights in Japan, it is composed of thousands of LED lights that lights and glow, so when you enter inside you'll feel like you are in space or just having a magical moment.

Taking of selfie and photo op are allowed and the entrance is FREE

Tunnel of Light opens everyday at 6pm and it will run til Jan 8, 2017.

At the end of the Tunnel of Lights, you'll see a big DAVAO giant letters

There's also a fountain...and..the most exciting part

The waterworks fountain and light show
The show occurs every 15 minutes at the Fountain court of SM Lanang Premier.

The fountain and light dances in sync with the Christmas music and symphonic sound played on speakers.

Its one of the best attractions here in SM Lanang and also in Davao.
The waterworks fountain and light show is here to stay and it will play every night and all year round here in SM Lanang Premier.

Not just Christmas season attraction in the mall, but also a tourist attraction.

After tasting a durian ice cream from the Davao Night Market, I didn't expected that I crave more of it after eating our seafood lunch at Marina Tuna.

Im glad that I fond this Giardino Gelato in SM Lanang Premier.

They saved me and offered a gelato that I can't resist..

For PHP 100, you get to eat a cup of durian gelato!
OMG!! if the ice cream durian tastes good...then this gelato taste even more good!
Promise..this gelato haunted me for days after getting off Davao City.

Dinner at Barrio Fiesta, formerly known as Archipelago 1770 restaurant (also operated by Barrio Fiesta) They changed the name to Barrio Fiesta because its the known resto name ever for their kare kare and crispy pata.

Btw that Chicharon bulaklak on the table, Ted ordered that. They ate it..
