Will blog for a new laptop!

I haven't slept the entire evening, and finished fixing my Compaq laptop at 4am in the morning. I just encountered the BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH for the 2nd time last night. I free a lot of unused programs and my anti malware softwares. So I'm running a light config in my laptop now, and at risk to some attacks.

After the system crash, my laptop started to boot up for 30 minutes. And i just can't believe that it loads so slow. It was the first time to experience it and I felt that I dozed off for a short while waiting for a complete load and bypass the other systems installed in order to get in. Safe mode didn't worked so I need to bypass everything manual..

I'm starting to look for a way to get a new laptop, and since that my money hasn't arrived yet to buy a new one. I'm looking for a possibility if there's anyone can sponsor or maybe lend a laptop (for life hahaha) in exchange of an ex-deal or total endorsement here in my blog. It's just a crazy idea, but maybe there's a fairy god genie in there. Well this is just into my mind and hope to open an upcoming working relationship after my crazy and promising idea. Been receiving some proposals from companies as being their brand ambassador for DSLR cameras, clothing, shoes, cellphones, but still got no final word yet as they are fixing it with their big bosses. But hope we can do the same to laptop or PCs.

Few days ago, been attending lots of tech event and launching, got lots of invites recently to cover it and wrote a review here in my blog, sometimes they do raffles to event attendees, and I always fall in my knees whenever I hear that they will raffle and give laptop to the winners, but looks like that the lucky raffle pick is no longer my day, I remember last year been a great win for raffles and take home LCD tvs, mp3 player, dvds, cellphones and etc. but no laptop for a moment. I'm just trying to get more luck next time.

New Line Cinema's "Sex and The City 2" begins filming in New York

Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda take another bite out of The Big Apple

BURBANK, CA, September 14, 2009 – “Sex and the City 2,” the sequel to the 2008 summer blockbuster, has begun principal photography in—where else?—New York City. Returning in their starring roles as the four great friends are Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon. “It’s a great privilege to be spending time again with this beloved cast and crew and to be filming in New York City,” says Parker. “We look forward to the next few months of this adventure.”

Pre-selling of Mariah Carey's "Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel" just started in the Philippines

The ultimate diva of all-time Mariah Carey sings her heart out once more with the release of her new album, Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel. The album was first introduced with the hit, Obsessed that gained utmost popularity both here and the globe topping music and video charts for several weeks in a row. It is also the perfect follow-up since her award-winning album E=MC2 that reached almost platinum here in the Philippines.

Now that the release of the album is getting close (Official release date is on Sept. 28), a bulls-eye is hit by Mariah’s golden voice as she launches her new single – an impressive remake of the 80’s Foreigner hit, “I Wanna Know What Love Is”. Mariah Carey has been known to do massive covers of love infused classics with the likes of Journey’s “Open Arms,” Badfinger’s “Without You,” Def Leppard’s “Bringin’ on the Heartbreak” and Phil Collins’ “Against All Odds (Take a Look at Me Now).” All of these remakes had great contributions to Mariah’s rise to fame and “I Wanna Know What Love Is” is deemed to be no different.

The Breakthrough of Colbie Caillat

PRESS - Last time around, Colbie Caillat was feeling "Bubbly," and the entire pop world seemed to want a sip. But this time, effervescence flirts with explosiveness. For her sophomore album, Breakthrough, Colbie has shaken up her sound, bringing in a wider array of producers and players, and significantly picking up the tempo at times from her debut effort's signature ballads. So keep an eye on those carbonation levels: champagne corks may fly.

The making of Breakthrough was far more purposeful than the ramshackle sessions that became Caillat's first album. "We tried different versions of a lot of the songs-some raw and acoustic; some with lots of harmonies and others with 20 more instruments than needed to be there-just to see which version sounded best. We ended up having a lot of variety." But for all this diversification, there's at least one carry-over and constant: the front-and-center intimacy of Caillat's vocals, which fans already relate to coming through their ear buds like the voice of a warm and trusted friend.

Turn your blog into a book
I was thinking during my 1 year of blogging last 2004, and got the idea to publish all my blog entries with photos and turn it into a book. I don't know if its possible and not sure if people will have any interest in reading it. But then I'm surprised that is having this feature in partner with Blog2Print in celebration of 10th anniversary.

you can read more about it here at Turn Your Blog into a Book with Blog2Print

It's funny and tried to publish 2007-2009, but the blog2print generator crashed, I think it will be a good idea to publish a selected blog post or maybe select one month of blog post and transform it into your own book. Price ranges from $15 for 20 pages. hmmm..  I'm now wondering how many pages will reach for a month og blog post.

fish & co. just for me meal
Bangus ala Pobre

Back then I'm very lazy or hated to eat fish, even during my college years I always refuse to eat fish meat, because of that I'm not typical person who will do a CSI thing in a fish and remove scales and bones. But thanks to food engineering that they decided to have fish fillets, but not all are good and tasty, But now I live in Cavite, all meals here at home are seafoods and fish, I have no choice and must eat the way with the people here, now I'm starting to love eating fish and seafoods, and here in my food blog feature, Fish & Co. launches a new set of meal just for you, ohh it was called "Just for Me" meals.

Project Mary Grace production note 4

Project Mary Grace production note 4
I went to the venue and had a meeting with the officials for this event. It was a very long travel time and traffic hit me along the way. It was a great hour meeting with them and learned many things that I should be doing right now, like some tweaking and marketing. I promised them that the event website will launch on Monday, and I think that's the best way to promote it on the net. I'm very surprised that press releases and flyers are already spreading without me knowing that they are already promoting it. uh oh...I should act fast. I'm happy and sad for the turn out. But will make it another year's best event.

Remember 9-11

This is a photo blog special here in my blog, I'm featuring lots of photos that I found in the net in memory of the tragic 9-11. I remember that I was in a middle of production work in a studio in Manila, when I saw this shocking live tv coverage by CNN, after figuring out what was going on, I immediately texted my family and inform them to watch the news, and I guess I was a little late on the big news. Then I thought it was just a small deal, an airplane crashing into a building, but then I realized it was a terrorist attack. Let's all remember the 9-11 incident and pray that it will never happen again.  Check below for a series of photos from real photographs to pop culture tribute.
